Papertrey Ink March Release Countdown Day 3

Hi and welcome to Day 3 day of the Papertrey Ink March Release Countdown. I have two more projects to share with you today. All the new products will be available on March 26th at 10 PM ET.

My first few projects feature the new Bookmarked Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. On my first project I incorporated the bookmark on to the front of my card. The other elements are from the new Just Notes Stamp Set and Dies and the Love to Layer: Notebook Dies.

I added the notebook paper to the card front and then stamped the strip of tape in Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. Rather than glue the strip down I wrapped the corners around the card and glued them down. I hung the bookmark on the tape but it can easily be removed and used as a bookmark.

I used the Border Bling: Frayed Edges Dies to add the frayed edges to the card front.

There are a number of different options in the Bookmarked Stamp Set and coordinating Dies to create bookmarks. Here is a look at the the three animal options.

There is also three flower options along with the pencil and the ruler.

Supplies:

Stamps: Bookmarked, Just Notes
Dies: Bookmarked, Just Notes, Border Bling: Frayed Edges
Ink: Pure Poppy, True Black, New Leaf, Classic Toffee, Aqua Mist, Lemon Tart, Versamark
Paper: True Black, Stamper's Select White, Aqua Mist, Soft Stone, Bitty Big Collection: Pure Poppy
Other: Just Notes: Stencil, White Embossing Powder, Paper Clip, White Gel Pen, Black Jewels

Next is a look at the Always In Bloom Stamp Set and Dies. This a beautiful set full of pretty flowers and beautiful greenery. I have listed the inks I used below.

After I had stamped and die cut the flowers and greenery I arranged them on a panel die cut with the Love to Layer: Deckled Dies and stenciled with the  Watercolor Wonderful Stencil. The sentiment is from the new Mother's Day Sentiments stamp set.

The background is created with the Cover Plate: Exquisite and True Black Cardstock. I added a strip of Sweet Blush Cardstock in the the center of the card and finished off with a few Moonshine Sequins: Fresh Snow.

Supplies:

Stamps: Always in Bloom, Mother's Day Sentiments
Dies: Always in Bloom, Love to Layer: Deckled Edges, Cover Plate: Exquisite
Ink: Sweet Blush, Melon Berry, True Black, Lemon Tart, Harvest Gold, Plum Pudding, Honey Nut, Ocean Tides, Mint Julep, Pinefeather
Paper: True Black, Stamper's Select White, Sweet Blush

Papertrey Ink August Release Sneak Peeks

Hi all! The Papertrey Ink August Sneak Peeks started this week but I have been on vacation and just now getting a chance to start sharing my projects with you. This release is all about Halloween, back to school, and the first products for fall. Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM EST, Thursday, August 18th.

My first two projects feature the new Go-To Gift Holder: Backpack dies and Accessories Stamp Sets and Dies. On my first sample I had a teacher in mind. You can see how the gift card fits perfectly in the pocket of the backpack at the top. I love the cute polka dot pocket with the zipper. I stamped the zipper in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I die cut the zipper handle from gold foil.

The background on this card is die cut with the Cover Plate: Apples Die. You can punch the apples out but I chose to leave the apples inserted. I attached the backpack gift card holder to the front of the card. Then you can write a note to your teacher on the inside of the card.

Stamps: Go-To Gift Holder: Backpack
Dies: Go-To Gift Holder: Backpack, Go-To Gift Holder: Backpack Accessories, Cover Plate: Apples
Ink: True Black, Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist, Simply Chartreuse, Soft Stone, Versamark, Sweet Blush
Paper: Stamper's Select White, True Black, Sweet Blush, Hibiscus Burst, Simply Chartreuse, Gold Foil
Other: Gold embossing Powder, Sequins, Glue, Copic Markers

On my second example I created a gift card holder to give to your favorite student as the kids head back to school. I used the plaid front pocket stamp on this card, stamping Versamark Ink on Aqua Mist Cardstock and embossing with white embossing powder. I added one of sentiments from the stamp set.

I tucked a notebook behind the gift card and added a few accessories.

Stamps:  Go-To Gift Card Holder
Dies: Go-To Gift Card Holder, Go-To Gift Card Holder Accessories
Ink: Enchanted Evening, Aqua Mist, Pure Poppy, Classic Kraft, Summer Sunrise, True. Black, Versamark
Paper: Stamper's Select White, Aqua Mist, New Leaf, Enchanted Evening, Silver
Other: Silver Embossing Powder, White Embossing Powder, Glue

Next up is the first look at Fall! The focal point of the card is the new Larger Than Life: Fall Die and the Larger Than Lift Fall Sentiments. I started by cutting the "Fall" sentiment from gold foil, and then three more times from Stamper's Select White Cardstock. I layered the die cuts one on top of the other before I attached the sentiment to the card front. I stamped the smaller sentiment in Versamark Ink on Pure Poppy Cardstock and embossed with gold embossing powder.

I die cut the background with the Cover Plate: Maple Leaves Die and then inlayed the leaves back into the card front with a variety of fall colors. I added the flowers and additional greenery with the Sprigs & Sprays: Fall Stamp Set and Dies

Thanks for stopping by! I will back tomorrow with more new products to share with you. Stop by the PTI Blog for all the details.

Ink to Paper March Release Sneak Peeks Day 2

I am back for Day 2 of the Ink to Paper March Release Sneak Peeks. Today I have some some cute graduation and teacher appreciation projects to share with you. Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM EDT on March 20th.

Let's start with the Congratulations Graduate Stamp Set and Go-To-Gift Card Holder: Congratulations Graduate Dies. On my first example I went with a classic black and gold color theme that I could use for graduates of all ages. This gift card holder is quick and easy to use!

You can see that when you pull the cap off there is a gift card holder attached. You could also add cash! The year is die cut with the Number Die from gold glittered cardstock.

On my next card I chose the school colors of the graduate and added some flowers to make it feel feminine. The flowers and leaves are created with the Tiny Blooms Stamp Set  and Dies.

The sentiments are stamped in Tropical Teal Ink. The tassel is stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.

You can also use the stamps and die to create a graduation card. I cut a circle from Stamper's Select White Cardstock with the Love to Layer: Scalloped Circle Die and attached the graduation hat, tassel, and diploma.

The numbers are die cut with the  Number Die and the background is die cut with the Border Bing: Tin Stitch Die.

Next up is a peek at the Storybook Teachers Stamp and Dies. This set coordinations with the previously released Storybook Christmas Stamp Set and Storybook Christmas Dies.

At the bottom of the card I created a desk with the Woodwork Die and Classic Kraft Ink. I added the sentiment with the new Just Sentiments: Appreciation. I added score lines to the top portion of the card and blended Spring Rain Ink.

Next I stamped the books and stacked them up! Then I added the apple and glasses to finish off the card.

I Love My Teacher!

Hi Friends! Well it is that time of year when we start thinking about the end of the school year and how we can thank our teachers for all the time, effort, and support that they given our children throughout the school year.

I created a thank card and gift card holder with some great products from Taylored Expressions

I created the background with the Alphabet Soup Cutting Plate. I die cut the cutting plate twice and then adhered the two layers together for extra dimension. I really like this cutting plate and think it would also be great for anything school related, new baby cards, and children's birthday cards.

I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Pop Ink with the Apple Of My Eye Stamp Set and die cut with the Apple Stacklets. The stem is die cut with the Apple Stem and Seeds die in Granny Smith Ink. (see links below)

I used the Tag Pocket Die to create this gift card holder. The tag would look cute die on a small gift or a gift bag. I added one of the smaller apples in the Apple Of My Eye Stamp Set

Thanks for stopping by! I hope I given you some inspiration to start on your end of school year gifts!
