Vintage Florals from Spellbinders

Thanks for stopping by today! I am starting off the week with some new products from Spellbinders January Release.

I'm not sure if I can every have enough floral dies. I like to used as the center piece of my card but also for smaller embellishments when I feel like I need one final touch to a card. This card is created with the new Vintage Florals Etched Dies which are part of the From the Garden Collection by Wendy Vecchi. I love the detail on the die cuts. I die cut the flowers from white cardstock and blended each layer of the flowers with ink .

In the center of the largest flower I add a wax seal with the new Must-Have Wax Bead Mix Teal Beads. This set has four different color of bead in the mix that melt beautifully together. I will link the products below.

The background is die cut from Lagoon Cardstock with the new Heartfelt Thanks & Scallops Etched Dies. I do love a scalloped edge! After the die cut the panel I embossed with the the new Columns Embossing Folder. Then I finished off the card with a simple sentiment from the Fresh Picked Sentiments Etched Dies. This is great set of sentiment dies I know I will use over and over.

Hope you have a great week!

This month's "To The Moon" Wax Seal Stamp adds that finishing touch to seal you projects with love. It has one wooden handle that supports a 1" round brass seal stamp design on its end. This club option also includes a pack of coordinating wax beads. The seals are fun elements to add to your card, seal an envelope, or add to a gift wrapped present.

To create the bouquet of flowers I used the Sealed Bouquet Etched Dies. I die cut a variety of flowers and greenery, assembled the die cuts, and created a bouquet for the center of the card. I glued the bouquet to an oval die cut with the Elliptical Ovals Dies using Barely Peach Cardstock. For added detail I did some ink blending on the flowers and leaves.

I cut a piece of Wild Berry Cardstock to fit the card front and embossed with the Flower Frenzy 3D Embossing Folder. I wrapped twine around the card and then I added the oval to the front of the card and added the "Love you to the moon and back" wax seal. The birthday sentiment is from the Welcome Sign & Sentiments Clear Stamp & Die Set.

Spellbinders Wax Seal of the Month

Hi! Today's post features a card I created with the September Wax Seal of the Month from Spellbinders. The September "New Subscriber" registration window will be available September 6-27th. This month's "Fall Meadow" Wax Seal Stamp adds that finishing touch to seal you projects with love. It has one wooden handle that supports a 1" round brass seal stamp design on its end. This club option also includes a pack of coordinating wax beads.

This month's Fall Meadow Seal seemed perfect to pair with the new Autumn WonderEtched Dies and the Envelope of Wonder Etched Dies. There are also die sets for Halloween and Christmas.

I used the die in the Envelope of Wonder Etched Dies to created the envelope. I planned to add the envelope to a card but you can used it as just an envelope too. I filled the envelope with a variety of Fall foliage. I have linked the cardstock colors I used below. I wrapped twine around the envelope and added the seal with a Sealed Wax Seal Adhesive Circle.

The background is embossed with the Diamond Plaid Embossing Folder. I added the border at the bottom with the Winter Borders Etched Dies. I finished off the card with a few copper jewels.

Thanks for stopping by. Stop by the September Wax Seal of the Month Page for all the details about the Club.

Spellbinders August Wax Seal of the Month

Hi Crafters! I getting back into my craft room this week after being on vacation. My first project is a card I created with the Spellbinders August Wax Seal of the Month Club. This month's  NEW "Mandala Flower" Wax Seal Stamp adds that finishing touch to seal you projects with love. It has one wooden handle that supports a 1" round brass seal stamp design on its end. This club option also includes a pack of coordinating wax beads.

I used the Stylish Oval Hello Floral Etched Dies to create the bouquet of flowers. This is one of my favorite die sets. I love all the details die cut into the flowers and leaves. The die set also includes the sentiment. I used Gold Mirror Cardstock for the gold accents and  Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems for a little bling.

Here is a closer look at the wax seal. I used Peachy Pink Wax Beads to create the seal along with the Wax Seal Starter Kit. Then I added the gold color to the seal with the DecoColor by Marvy Uchida Premium Gold Metallic Marker. (See links below) I always make a few extra seals so that I have them ready to go when I need them.

The Peach Sorbet background is embossed with the Flower Frenzy 3D Embossing Folder and I used Dahlia Cardstock for the card base.

Thanks for stopping by! Stop by the Spellbinders August Wax Seal of the Month Club page for all the details.

First Christmas Card of 2023!

Since it is July I will have a few Christmas in July projects to share with you this month. It's never too early to start collecting inspiration and creating for the holidays! Today I am sharing my first holiday card for 2023. I used some Spellbinders products along with the new Poinsettia Joy" Wax Seal Stamp, from the July Wax Seal Club. The Wax Seal Club of the month is a new club Spellbinders just added to their club lineup. The kit includes one wax seal and a bag of wax beads.

First step is create this beautiful deer. I used the The Magical Deer Etched Dies with the cardstocks I have listed below. I love all the details on the die cuts and elegant antlers. I added the smallest gold gems in the Gold Mix Gems to the center of the die cut flowers.

Here is a closer look at the wax seal. I purchased the Wax Seal Starter Kit a while ago but this is the first time I have used it. It is so fun and easy to use. I love the detail on the Poinsettia Joy" Wax Seal Stamp. After the wax had cooled I used a DecoColor by Marvy Uchida Premium Gold Metallic Marker to highlight the design.

I embossed the card front with the Scenic Poinsettias 3D Embossing Folder. Then I added a panel of vellum with an embossed sentiment from the  Parcel & Post Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. The bottom border is die cut with the Winder Borders Etched Dies.

The new club has been popular and is close to selling out. But Spellbinders will have some more in the future.

Thanks for taking a look!
