Bonjour!

There is a new release at Taylored Expressions today that adds new products and some fun options to the Mini Slim Product Line. All the new products are available now in the TE Store

I have two cards to share with you that feature the new Mini Slim Frame in Frame Cutting Plate, the cute Post Cards from Paris Stencil and Post Cards from Paris Dies, and the Mon Ami Sentiment Set and coordinating dies.

The Post Cards From Paris Stencil is a set of five stencils. I have listed the colors of ink I used for the stenciling below. The Mini Slim Frame in Frame Cutting Plate is a set of two frames and three small squares. I used the middle sized frame on the card.

Behind the frame I added a panel of white cardstock blended with Banana Cream Ink. The sentiment is from the Mon Ami Stamp Set.

The set of stencil creates three images. There is also the image of the Eiffel Tower that I have not used yet. I used the largest die in the Mini Slim Frame in Frame Cutting Plate on this card.

I added a little sparkle to my card with the TE Happy Medium - Iridescent Glitter with the stencil on the Macaron ink blended parts of the images.

We have more Mini Slim goodies to add to your crafty stash! You'll find brand-new Mini Slim Dies to frame and finish your designs, plus a Triple Slim Stencil collection that takes you on a crafty trip to Paris!

Shine So Bright

The Taylored Expressions Memorial Day Sentiment Sale starts today!  Sentiment stamps and coordinating dies are 20% off. Offer valid 5/20 at 9 am CT through 5/26 at 11:59 pm CT or while supplies last. Each Design Team Member got to choose one their favorite sentiment stamps set to work with. It is really hard to pick a favorite but I chose to work with the Shine So Bright Stamp Set and Shine so Bright Dies

I created two cards with the stamp set. I like the happy sentiments in this stamp set!

For my first card I chose the Arch Dreamscapes Stamp Set to go with one of the sentiments in the Shine So Bright Stamp Set. I stamped the scene in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I used the Dreamscapes Layering Stencil to add the ink blended color and the Additional Arch Nouveau Dies to die cut the arches. The larger arch is cut from vellum.

I stenciled the background with the Here Come the Sun Stencil and Cupcake Ink. The flowers and greenery are die  with the Fresh Cut Flowers Dies from Sugar Cube Cardstock and the blended with TE Inks.

The card front is die cut with the A2 Postage Stamp Stacklets.

My next card is centered around the Fanfare Cutting Plate and Fanfare Stencil. It seemed to go perfectly with the Hey Sunshine sentiment. I cut a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock with the Squiggle Stacklets. Then I die cut with the Fanfare Cutting Plate and stenciled with the Fanfare Stencil.

The cute sun is from the Here Comes the Sun Stamp set and die cut with the Here Comes the Sun Dies. I added the clouds with the Rainbow Cloud Duo.

I finished off the card with a few Gold Glitter Drops.

A Year In Bloom

As a token of gratitude for shopping with Taylored Expressions, every order you place comes with a free gift. For 2025, we’re excited to bring you A Year in Bloom - a series of monthly red rubber stamps inspired by birth flowers. With today's release we are excited to have some fun additions to go along with the rest of the A Year in Bloom collection.

My first card is created with the new A Year in Bloom - Vases and Places 2 Die Set, the Petite Scallop Gallery Builder, and the Large Lattice Layering Stencil and Large Lattice Stamp. I used the Year in Blooms stamps from January, February, March, April, and May along with the coordinating dies.

If you miss a month you can buy the stamp to keep your collection complete.

I colored the flowers with Olo Markers, die cut them, and arranged them in the four fun vases I die cut with the A Year in Bloom - Vases and Places 2 Die. The sentiments are from the previously release Mini Strips - Floral Stamp set.

The background is stamped with the new Large Lattice Stamp and stenciled with the Large Lattice Layering Stencil using Macaron Ink. Next I die cut scalloped shapes to center the floral arrangements on with the new Petite Scallop Gallery Build Die set. I cut them from Sugar Cube Cardstock lightly blended ink to add the pastel colors.

Next up is a closer look at the Large Lattice Stamp and the Large Lattice Layering Stencil. Here I stamped the  Large Lattice Stamp on Sugar Cube Cardstock in Blue Corn Ink. Then I stenciled with the Large Lattice Layering Stencil. There are three stencils in the set. I used Granny Smith, Banana Cream, and Bleu Cheese Inks. Then I splattered with Dr. Ph. Martin's bleed proof white opaque watercolor.

I die cut these vases with the previously released A Year in Bloom - Vases & Places Die Set. My flowers are colored with Copic Markers and I added Tiny Diamonds to accent the vases.

I used the new Diamond Stacklets Die set to cut three diamonds that fit the diamonds that are stamped with the Large Lattice Stamp and used foam tape to pop them up from the background.

This sentiment is from the Sundry Sentiments Die Set and die cut with the coordinating Sundry Sentiments Dies.

From new focal points to backgrounds, A Year in Bloom Beyond is all about helping you do more with the flowers you already have.

Save $10 on the A Year in Bloom Beyond Bundle! Offer valid 5/13 at 9 am CT through 5/20 at 9 am CT or while supplies last.

The For Him Release at Taylored Expressions

The new release at Taylored Expressions this week is all about the men in our lives and  the new Dreamscape Collection that can be used for many different occasions. The products are available now in the TE Store.

First up is a look at the new Dreamscape Collection that included the Dreamscapes Layering Stencil, Additional Arch Nouveau Dies, Arch Dreamscapes Stamp Set, Ridged Arch Nouveau Die Set, Arch Windowpanes Die Set, and the Arch Interactive Window Die.

Dreamscapes Layering Stencil creates four beautiful, peaceful scenes making it perfect for so many different occasions.

Here I stamped the background with the Fine Diamond Background Stamp with Toffee Ink on Toffee Cardstock. You can see how I used the Ridged Arch Nouveau Die Set to add the detail around the frame.

The sentiment is from the new Perfect Pennant - Dad Clear Stamp Set.  I splattered paint on the background and added the twine.

On my second card on used the Arch Windowpanes Die to add the windowpane. Here I used a Foil It - Dreamscape panel with the Dreamscape Stencil. I used TE Champagne Foil.

For this background I used the Pinstripe 6x6 Background Stamp with Blue Corn Ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock.

The sentiment is stamped with the Hello Lovely stamp set. I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with  Champagne Embossing Powder.

My next two cards feature the Mega Messages - You're the Best Die and the Create-n-Quads Pattern Playground Stencil. The Create-n-Quads Pattern Playground Stencil creates for different background panels. Here I used Rock Candy, Honey, Blueberry, and Brussels Spout Inks but the color combos are endless!

The Mega Messages - You're the Best Die Set consists of two dies, one for the sentiment and one for the shadow background. I die cut the sentiment three times and glued the layers together to add the extra depth.

For the Father's Day sentiment I used the Foil It - Perfect Pennant Dad, foiling with Blueberry Foil and die cutting with the Perfect Pennant - Dad dies. The die set also includes the stars I added to the card.

On my second card I used the You're the Best Shadow die  to die cut directly into the card front. I added Salt Water Taffy Cardstock behind the die cut.

This sentiment is also created with the Foil It - Perfect Pennant Dad, foiling with Blueberry Foil and die cut with the Perfect Pennant - Dad dies. The fingers are die cut with the new Little Bits Die Set - Football.

It's Technique Week at Taylored Expressions

Today Taylored Expressions is kicking off Technique Week with the launch of the new  TE Perforated Paper,  along with new products to pair with the paper. Plus, we’re excited to open early bird registration for our Summer School event!

The new Perforated Paper is a fun way of adding texture and detail to your project. The paper can be stamped, stenciled, and used for stitching. I used the Create in Quad - Poster Prints Stencil with the Perforated Paper for my card front.

The Perforated Paper also die cuts beautifully. I used the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets to die cut the stenciled image and then I matted with the Petite Scallop Stacklets.

The sentiment is from the new Woodland Blooms Stamp and Stencil Combo. My next project showcases that stamp set. I stamped in Versamark Ink on Blue Corn Cardstock and embossed with TE Gold Embossing Powder.

I finished off the card with a few Gold Glitter Drops.

Here is a closer look at the new Woodland Blooms Stamp and Stencil Combo. I stamped the branch in Cinnamon Ink and then stenciled with Salt Water Taffy, Pear, and Sweet Basil Inks. There are three stencils and three sentiment stamps.

I used the Arched Stacklets to frame the branch.  I stamped the Gathered Greenery Background Stamp  Sweet Basil Ink on Sweet Basil Cardstock and then die cut the arch.

I added Teal Glitter Drops to the center of the flowers and then scattering a few more drops.
