Colorfully Coordinated

It's the Colorfully Coordinated Release at Taylored Expressions today! If you love color and love to organize this release if for you! I know my cart is going to full! Keeping my supplies organized is a challenge for me. 

Let's start with a look at the new color of cardstock and ink being release today, Plum Tart. I paired Plum Tart with Berry Smoothie, Potato Chip, and Honeydew Melon and used Lemon Meringue and Brussels Sprouts to add shading. 

I decided on a 5 x 7 card with the beautiful Baroque Bouquet Stamp. I stamped in Oreo Ink and then used the Baroque Bouquet Stamp Stencil to add the color with Blender Brushes. I die cut with the coordinating Baroque Bouquet Die and then added embossing details with the Baroque Bouquet Stamp 3D Embossing Folder.  

Here is a closer look at the embossing detail. I love that TE has added 5 x 7 options to the TE product line.  I used the A7 Layer Stacklets Die Set and the A7 Large Scallop Stacklets Die Set for my card base. 

At the bottom I added a strip of Plum Tart Card embossed the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Signature Sentiments Clear Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating dies. I finished off the card with a few Glitter Drops.

Colorfully Coordinated

Happy Holidays

Hi and welcome to Day 1 of the Papertrey Ink September Release Countdown. We are kicking off the Christmas Season this month! All the new products are available on September 23rd at 12 PM ET. 

The This is Big Sentiment: Happy Holidays Stamp Set is the new addition to the collection this month. There are two font styles for the large sentiments and then numerous smaller coordinating sentiments in the set. The Christmas tree is created with the new Love to Layer: Christmas Tree. There are two sizes of Christmas Tree Dies along with dies for garlands and ornaments. 

To create the card front I die cut with the Cover Plate: Stitched Snowflakes Die with Stamper's Select White Cardstock and the blended Tropical Teal and Hawaiian Shore Inks. I used a little bit of Dark Indigo Ink on the top edges. 

There is a coordinating set of  stencils to go with the Love to Layer: Christmas Tree Dies Set. I used one of the stencils in the set with White Texture Paint to added white dot garland. I die cut the hill of snow with the previously released Bring Home the Holidays Dies, which is one of favorite die sets from last holiday season.

This card is created with the two smaller trees in the Love to Layer: Christmas Tree Dies and this is second font in the This is Big Sentiments: Happy Holidays Stamp Set. 

I used the Love to Layer: Christmas Tree Stencil on each tree. On the hills of snow I blended Spring Rain Ink on the edges and then added Stickles in Diamond for the look of glistening snow. 

Finally, I splattered white paint on the background.

Next is a look at the Merry Motifs Stamp Set and Dies, the Merry Motifs Hot Foil Plate, and the Twas the Night Before Christmas Sentiments and Dies, and the new Storybook Scroll Dies. 

I used the Merry Motifs Hot Hot Foil Plate with Ocean Tides Cardstock and gold foil for the card front. I die the Storybook Scroll Die from Rustic Cream Cardstock. 

I stamped the sentiment with the Twas the Night Before Christmas Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating dies and add it the front of the scroll with foam tape. I added the berries and greenery with the Into the Blooms: Swag Dies. 

Next I created a coordinating gift card holder with the Go-To Gift Card Holder: Book Box, Go-To Gift Card Holder: Book Pockets Die. This a previously released product that I love for creating gift card holder and coordinates with the new Merry Motifs Stamp Set and Dies. 

In the inside I added two pockets and a slot for the gift card with the  Go-To Gift Card Holder: Book Pockets Die.

Happy Holidays

New Tools Release from Taylored Expressions

Taylored Expressions is releasing a number of new tools today, many of them in TE Teal! The tools include a teal tape dispenser, die pick, reverse tweezers, large magnets and magnetic rulers, along with the the new Swatch Out Stencil. 

The Swatch Out Stencil was created to coordinate with the Ink-spiration cards to offer an option for keeping a record of your blended color combinations! The True Colors clear stamp set is the perfect size to stamp the name of each ink.

I created a Mini Slim card to give you a look at the color combination I chose to work with. I cut a piece of Sugar Cube Ink to fit the card front and starting at the bottom, I blended ink in Banana Cream Pie, Confetti Cake, Blue Raspberry, Poblano Pepper, Blue Corn, and a little Oreo ink on the upper corners. 

Once I had blended the background I splattered white paint. Next I die cut images from the Garden Variety - Prairie dies set from TE Glossy Black Cardstock.  

The top sentiment is from the All Together Occasions Stamp Set. I stamped Versamark Ink on Poblano Pepper Cardstock and embossing with TE White Embossing Powder. The bottom sentiment is from the Mini Strips - Hello Add-ons Stamp Set.

New Tools Release from Taylored Expressions

Four New Inks and Cardstock!

Hi Crafters! I get excited about adding new colors of ink and cardstock to my collections and today Taylored Expressions is adding four new colors to the TE collection. You can find the new colors now in the TE Store. 

On my first card I am showcasing the new cardstock colors. I used all four new colors on my card. I used Oat Milk for the bucket, Green Tea and Brussels Sprouts for the greenery, and Bleu Cheese for the smaller flowers. 

I used the Garden Variety 2 Die Set with the Rustic Pail Die to create the floral arrangement. The background is die cut with the Pierced Lattice Cutting Plate. The sentiment is from the Sundry Sentiments Stamp Set and stamped in the Bleu Cheese Ink. 

The True Color Inspirations cards are perfect for coming up is new colors combos and keeping them for inspiration in the future. 

Next up let's take a look at the inks. Here I used three of the new ink colors, Bleu Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, and Green Tea and combined the inks with Macaron, Dried Fig, Blue Corn, and Potato Chip. 

I used the Triple Slim Layering Stencil - In the Garden to create my three mini slim cards. The sentiments are from the Sundry Sentiments Stamp Set. 

I added a few rhinestones to each card. 

I also created another My True Colors Inspiration Card for future reference.
