Timeless Blooms

It is Throwback Thursday at Taylored Expressions! The Create-in-Quad Layering Stencil – Timeless Blooms is back! The Timeless Bloom Stencil creates four unique but coordinated panels all at once. And there are new products to coordinate! 

I created a set of four cards with the Timeless Bloom Stencil. I used a combination of Lavender Glaze, Popsicle, Plum Punch, Mint Julep, Cilantro, and Brussels Sprout Inks. 

I added the background texture to each card with the new Quilted Cutting Plate Die. I love the detail of the added texture and am sure I will reach for this Cutting Plate often! 

All the sentiments are from the Together in Type Stamp & Die Combo. Here I added a strip of vellum so that the sentiment stood out from the background. 

Here are the next two cards. I used Bits & Pieces Plum Punch Glitter Drops on all of my cards to add a little sparkle. 

On this card I die cut a small rectangle from the center of the card, framed it with the one of the smaller A2 Large Scallop Stacklets for some added detail. 

This card is framed with the largest die in the A2 Large Scallop Stacklets. The backgrounds of my cards are lightly splattered with  Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White Watercolor.

Timeless Blooms

The Timeless Blooms Cardmaking Kit from Taylored Expressions

I am kicking off the week with the final cardmaking kit from Taylored Expressions this year, Timeless Blooms. I created four cards with the stencil. On this two I used the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stcklets to die cut and mat the stenciled image. 

For the flowers I used Peaches n' Cream, Rose Water, Guava, and Fruit Punch Inks and for the leaves Honeydew Melon and Brussels Sprouts. 

All the sentiments are from the Together in Type Stamp & Die Combo that is included in the kit. 

On my next two cards I used the A2 Layer Stacklets Die Set to die cut the card front and then added the detail around the edges with the Cross Stitch Rectangle Stacklets Die Set. 

I added a few of the new Bits & Pieces - Rose Glitter Drops to each card. These are so pretty in person. 

I used Fruit Punch Cardstock for all the card bases.

The Timeless Blooms Cardmaking Kit from Taylored Expressions

Sunshine and Rainbows

Hi and thanks for stopping by today! I have a fun, happy Sunshine & Rainbows Release to share with you today from Taylored Expressions. I am also excited about the new enamel dots in a rainbow colors. 

My first group of cards are created with the new Create In Quads - ROYGBIV along with the Here Comes the Sun Stamp Set and Dies. 

I have linked the ink colors I used with the stencil below. I die cut this card front with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and matted the card front with Teal Glittered Cardstock and the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets. I also lightly spattered gold paint on all the backgrounds. 

On this card I used one of the Foil It - ROYGBIV panels foiled with TE Gold Shimmer Fun Foil. I stenciled clouds in the background with the Set the Scene - Clouds Stencil Strips and Salt Water Taffy Ink.  There are two dies that coordinate with the Create In Quads - ROYGBIV Stencil. On this card I die cut the rainbow with the Create-in-Quads - ROYGBIV Vase Die. 

This card showcases the Here Comes the Sun Clear Stamp Set and Dies. I love the option of stamping the face on the sun. I added the clouds with the previously released Rainbow Cloud Duo.

This card using the Create-in-Quads - ROYGBIV - Umbrella Die. All the sentiments are from the Shine So Bright Stamp Set and die cut with the Shine So Bright Coordinating Dies. I finished off each card with a few of the new enamel dots in Grape Jelly, Cookie Monster, Granny Smith and Lemon Meringue. 

Next up is a look at the Rainbow Bright 3 Die. There are two additional rainbow dies also being released giving you lots of options. I used Lollipop, Candy Corn, Lime Zest, Potato Chip, Jelly Donut, and Blue Raspberry Cardstocks for the rainbow. Then is used a paint brush to add Happy Medium - Iridescent Glitter on the bottom edges. 

I used the Here Comes the Sun Stamp Set and Die again to add the sun and finished the card off with the pretty enamel dots.

Sunshine and Rainbows

It's the Calendar Release at Taylored Expressions

Today Taylored Expressions is releasing new products to create calendars and  fun products to accompany you through the seasons. I have two projects to share with you. You can all the new products now in the TE Store. 

First up is a look at the adorable I'm A Hugger - Lamb Die & Clear Combo, which pairs perfectly with the In the Word 3 - Clipboard Calendar Cards. 

I die cut the lamb from Sugar Cube Cardstock, the ears from Rose Water, the face from Sea Salt, and the hoofs from Poppy Seed Cardstock. I added a black rhinestone the the noses and accented the eyes with a white gel pen. 

The In the Word 3 - Clipboard Calendar Cards fit perfectly under the top hoofs. I colored with Olo Markers. 

Next is a group of cards I created with the Arch Nouveau Stamp Set and the Arch Nouveau Dies. This set is perfect for creating TE Calendars but are also a great focal point for a card. 

I wanted to keep the card simple so you could easily make a set of cards as a gift. I stamped in Oreo Ink and then colored with Copic Markers. Then I die cut with the Arch Nouveau Dies, cutting the larger Die from TE Gold Foil. 

The background is die cut with the Pierced Lattice Cutting Plate and I added a panel of gold foil behind the die cut panel. I added another touch of gold with the Gold Glitter Drops. 

On this card I used one of the solid stamps in the set with Versamark Ink on Licorice Cardstock and embossed with gold embossing powder. 

The sentiments are from the new Sundry Sentiments Stamps and die cut with the coordinating dies. I stamped in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.

It's the Calendar Release at Taylored Expressions

Love Grows Here

The newest Taylored Expressions craft kit is being released today and this one is perfect for all the plant people out there! I put myself in that category!And I think you will love these sweet plants and pots! 

First I stenciled all the pots and plants with the Let Love Grow Layering Stencil & Clear Combo set that is included in the kit. I used a combination of Rose Water, Guava, Fruit Punch, Peaches n' Cream, Kiwi, Dill Pickle, and Toffee Inks. Then I die cut all the images with the Let Love Grow die collection which is also included in the kit. 

To create the background I stamped the Knock on Wood Background Stamp, available for purchase separately,  in Versamark Ink on Toffee Cardstock and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder. Then I used the Frame in Frame 3 Cutting plate to create the frame. I die cut the frame two more times from Sugar Cube Cardstock and layered the frames together so that the frame stood out from the background. 

The sentiment is stamped on Guava Cardstock in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE Gold Embossing Powder.

I added one of the The Insiders – Love Grows Here panels to the inside of the card. 

On my second card I used one of the Foil it – Essential Patterns panels for the background. I used Deep Blue Deco Foil with my Minc Foiling Machine. To add the scalloped borders I used the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stackles with Blue Berry Cardstock. 

I added the shelf with the die in the Let Love Grow die collection. I attached the shelf and plants to the card front with foam tape for added dimension. 

Here's a look at the inside of my card. It is nice to have the finished inside and out and ready to go!

Rather that attaching the sentiment to the middle of the card I put the sentiments in a glassine bag, giving the recipient the opportunity to determine the occasion they need the card for. I stamped the sentiments in a variety of colors to coordinate with the cards. 

You can purchase the Gift It Belly Band Die separately. I die cut the band from gold foil. There are Kraft envelopes and envelope seals in the kit. 

The kit also includes a Clear Card Box that holds you cards, envelopes, envelopes seals, and the bag of sentiments.
