It's October Release Day at Taylored Expressions

Welcome! It's release day at Taylored Expressions! I hope you have enjoyed all the October Sneak Peeks and been inspired to start your holiday creating!  All the new October products are available at the TE web store NOW.

My first card features the Snowed In Background Stamp

I stamped the Snowed In Background Stamp in Versamark Ink and embossed with a gold embossing powder. I stamped a sentiment from the Snowed in Sayings Stamp Set and die cut the sentiment with the Stitched Circle Stacklets.

I embellished the card with an angel, cut with the new Little Bits - Angel Die from the new TE Gold Foil Cardstock. The berries and pine needles are stamped with the Holiday Florals Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Holiday Florals Die.

My second card features two of my favorite new products from the new release! I think the Santa & Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies are so cute. I attached Santa's head to the card with a Mini Wobble Spring. When you move the card the head moves around! So cute!

I framed the card with the largest die in the Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate and embossed the background with Winter Flurry Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the From the North Pole Stamp Set, a great sentiment set for the holidays!

I LOVE  the new Flap Stacks - Rectangle Die Set!! Here I created a pocket to hold a gift card under the flap.

Thanks for visiting! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete list of our participating designers!

Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks Day 3 - From the North Pole

Hi! Welcome to Day 3  of Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks.  All the new products will be available at the TE web store at 7:00 am PST on Thursday, October 5th.

I have four tags I created with some of the new TE products. I love making tags and I love the way a handmade tag dresses up a package and gives it that extra special touch. For the base of each tag I used the Tag Stacklets 2. I use this die set to make tags throughout the year. All the sentiments are from the  From the North Pole Stamp Set.

Here I used the new Christmas Tree Shaker Die and a sentiment from the From the North Pole Stamp Set. I filled the tree with Build a Scene - Christmas Sequins. The hill is cut with the Build a Scene - Rolling Hills Die and the tree trunk and star are part of the Christmas Tree Shaker Die.

Next I use the Matchy Santa Die to create this cute Santa face and here is another sentiment from the From the North Pole Stamp Set.

To create the background on this tag I used the new Snowed In Background Stamp. I stamped in Sugar Cube Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I finished off the tag is a hat created with the Little Bits - Santa Hat.

And my final tag uses the new Santa & Friends Stamp Set and the Santa & Friends Dies. The head is attached to the tag with a Mini Wobble Spring. Just give the head shake and it moves! So so cute in person!

I love that I could make this tag interactive both with the wobble head and a flap that opens. I used the new Flap Stacks - Rectangle to cut the flap and all the sentiments are from the From the North Pole Stamp Set.

My second project showcases the new Frame-Worthy Christmas Prints, a fun way to create holiday home decor. The prints are Copic friendly. I added a little dimension with Enamel Shapes and Snow Flurries Sequins.

Be sure to stop by the TE blog and leave a comment and tell us your favorite product from today’s sneak peeks for a chance to win one of our new products! Thanks for stopping by! I will be back tomorrow with my release day projects.

Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks Day 2 - Merry & Bright

Hi and thanks for stopping by for Day 2 of Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks.  Today I two more Christmas cards to share. All the new products will be available at the TE web store at 7:00 am PST.

My first card features the new Sitting Pretty - Holiday Accessories Dies, which coordinates with the previously released Sitting Pretty Dies. The trees, Santa, sleigh, deer, snow, and stockings are all die cut with the Sitting Pretty - Holiday Accessories Dies. The shelf is included in the Sitting Pretty Dies. I added a little glitter to the snow and Cherry Pop Enamel Shapes to the hang the stockings.

The sentiment is from the new Simply Stamped - Christmas Tree Stamp Set and framed with the smallest die in the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate. The card front is framed with the largest die in the Stitched Framed Stacklets 1 and the background is embossed with the Bead Board Embossing Folder.

The centerpiece of my next card is the new Nativity Cutting Plate. So pretty! I die cut the cutting plate twice, once from Toffee Cardstock and once from the new TE Gold Foil. I adhered the two layers together, leaving a slight shadow with the gold foil. I added Peeled Paint Oxide Ink to the palm trees. The star is cut with the Little Bits - North Star. The sentiment is from the Holiday Florals Stamp Set.

To create the background I stamped the Twinkle Twinkle Background on watercolor paper with Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. Then I used a blending tool and distress inks to add the night sky.

Ho Ho Ho and Happy Holidays! It's Day 1 of Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks and we are getting ready for the Holidays! I am excited to share all my projects with you over the next four days.  All the new products will be available at the TE web store at 7:00 am PST.

My first card features the Sweet Season Stamp & Die Combo. I combined the set with the Mason Jar Stamp Set and Mason Jar Dies to create this cute, festive shaker card. I stamped the peppermint candies with Sugar Cube Ink on Cherry Pop Cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. Before I put the shaker together I dropped in Snow Flurries Sequins.

Notice my cute envelope! I added stamped envelopes to both my project with the new Merry Mail 1 Stamp Set.  A quick and easy way to add that special touch to your card!

I used the smallest die in the Tag Stacklets 3 to add the tag, embellished with the Little Bits - Holly Leaves and Cherry Pop Enamel Shapes. The card is framed with the largest die in the Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate. The Salt Water Taffy Cardstock behind the frame is embossed with the Snowfall Embossing Folder. The sentiment is included in the Sweet Season Stamp & Die Combo.

My second card features two new products, the Spirit of Christmas Stamp Set and the Christmas Tree Stacklets. I stamped the trees in Versamark Ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. The star are cut from the new TE Gold Foil Cardstock, perfect for the Christmas Season! The hills are cut with the Build a Scene - Rolling Hills Die.

I created the background with distress inks and a blending tool. I misted the inks with water and splattered on white paint. The sentiment is from the Spirit of Christmas Stamp Set. I finished off the card with a few Snow Flurries Sequins.

Grateful For You

Hi there! There is fall in the air today, although I don't think it is going to last. I think the heat is coming back in a few days. I over it and ready to move to fall weather! I have a pretty Fall card to share with you today that I created with pretty products from Pretty Pink Posh.

I love the new Stitched Foliage Dies! On this card I used the pumpkin but there are also four leaves in the set. I love the stitched detail. I cut the pumpkin from orange cardstock and added a little depth with distress inks. Next I added a fun border with the new Stacked Edges 1 Dies and stamped a sentiment from the Fox Friends Stamp Set four times across the border.

Next I stamped a variety of leaves, flowers, and berries from the Autumn Blooms Stamp Set. I colored the images with Copic Markers or I stamped the solid images with ink. Then I die cut the images with the Autumn Blooms Coordinating Dies

I attached the blooms to the card front, popping up a few of the flowers with foam dots. I added sequins from the Metallic Gold Confetti Mix to the center of the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a good weekend!

Fall Cards with Maya Road

Hi and thanks for stopping by today!  I have two cards to share with you that I created with the upcoming fall holidays in mind. Fall has to be my favorite season and I love working with the deep, rich colors of fall. My cards are created with Maya Road products, including dies and pretty embellishments.

My first card celebrates Halloween. I started with a Blackboard Kraft Mail Tag and layered the tag on patterned paper that was die cut with the largest die in the Smile Frame ATC Die. I embellished the tag with a Resin Fancy Frames in Snow White. The cat is included in the Mini Wood Autumn Day Pieces. I sponged black ink on the cat to add the color.

I created the flower with the Flower Die Set and added a button to the center of the flower. I added two Ken Oliver Vintage Paper Leaves in white behind the flower. I used the Tags & Ticket Die to die cut the sentiment. The card is finished off with a metal bird cage and Resin Mini Mums.

I had Thanksgiving in mind in creating my second card. Here I used a Kraft Tag layered on a panel of deep red paper die cut with the the largest die in the Smile Frame ATC Die. I stamped a sentiment from the Banner Sentiments Stamp Set, cut the sentiment out with scissors, and colored with Copic Markers. The sentiment is attached to a Kraft Scroll Frame Journaling Tags in White

I used three more of the wooden elements in the Mini Wood Autumn Day Pieces, an acorn, a leaf, and a pumpkin, adding color with ink. I think these wooden pieces are so cute! I also added a Vintage Scalloped Frame and a Resin Mini Mums.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope I have inspired you to start creating for fall!

I built a pattern with the stamps in the Damask Greetings Stamp Set, and then stamped in GOLDEN GLITZ Delicata Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. Then I added color with the Tumbled Glass Distress Ink

I framed the card with the PPP Stitched Notes Dies. I added a sentiment from the stamp set and finished off the card with sequins from the Metallic Gold Confetti Mix
