Happy 17th Birthday Taylored Exopressions!

We are celebrating Taylored Expressions 17th Birthday this month! I feel honored to have been part of the TE Design Team for so many years and watch TE grow! We are celebrating with Disco and Balloons! You can find all the new products now in the TE Store.

My first project features the Up For A Celebration product line which includes the Up For A Celebration Split Stamp and Stencil Combo, the the Up For A Celebration Coordinating Die, the Foil it - the Up For A Celebration panels, and the All the Best Birthday Stamp Set and coordinating All the Best Birthday Dies.

The All the Best Birthday Stamp Set is a split stamp, allowing you to stamp the background separately from the balloons depending on how you planning to lay out your card. For my background I stenciled clouds with the new Popsicle Ink and the stamped the background with the All the Best Birthday Stamp in Plum Punch Ink. 

I foiled one of the  Foil it - the Up For A Celebration panels with gold foil with my Minc. Then I used the  Foil it - the Up For a Celebration Stencil to add the color. I used the Frame in Frame 3 Cutting Plate to die cut the frame. 

The sentiment is from the All the Best Birthday Stamp and die cut with the coordinating dies.

I foiled one of the Foil It - Disco Vibes panels with Silver Foil and blended Salt Water Taffy on the background. I used TE Silver Foil to die cut the disco balls and adhered the die cut over the stenciling. I added the bow with the Disco Dress Up Die Set. 

The sentiment is from the Groovy Greetings Stamp Set. I have a dancing queen in my family this card will be going to!!

Happy 17th Birthday Taylored Exopressions!

The Pick Your Pairings Release at Taylored Expressions

I am kicking of September with projects from the new Pick Your Pairings Release at Taylored Expressions. The Pick Your Pairings Release is where TE fans, our amazing community of crafters, share your product pairing ideas and today we’re excited to add some of those ideas to the TE collection.

Let's start with a look at the Wallflower Background Stamp and the Autumn Wallflower Layering Stencil.  I started by stamping the Wallflower Background Stamp on Buttercream Cardstock with Cinnamon Ink and lightly blending Toffee Ink on the edges of the card front. 

Next I used the Autumn Wallflower Layering Stencil to add the fall icons to the Wallflower Background. I have listed the ink colors I used below. 

The sentiment is from the previously released Happy Harvest Stamp Set and die cut with the Happy Harvest Dies. I die cut the leaves with the Fall Flurry Dies. 

One of the customer requests was to add dies to coordinate with the Create-in-Quads Layering Stencil - Mistletoe that was previously released. This is one of my all time favorite stencils and perfect to mass producing Christmas cards. 

I started by foiling a Foil It - Mistletoe panel with gold foil and then stenciling with Honeydew Melon, Brussels Sprout, Cherry Pop, and Mulled Wine Inks. Then I used the new Create-in-Quads - Mistletoe Dies to die cut the images. 

I used the Tiny Twinkles Embossing Folder to emboss the card fronts. 

All the sentiments are from the Jingle All the Way Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Jingle of the Way Dies. 

I used TE Gold Foil to add the shadow to the die cut edges. 

On this card I used the new Additional Arched Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Arched Stacklets Dies to add the arched center. I am excited about this new dies. I love the shape! The bow is die cut with the Little Bits - Mini Bows Dies.

The Pick Your Pairings Release at Taylored Expressions

It's Raining Cats and Dogs!

It is the last Tuesday of the month and time for a new cardmaking kit from Taylored Expression. There are two pet themed kits to choose from this month, one all about dogs, and one all about cats. I have a project with each kit to share with you.

My first card is created with the Meow & Furever Kit.

I stamped the cats with the Meow & Furever Stamp and then stenciled the cats and used the Meow & Furever Cutting Plate Die to die cut all the cats at once. I stamped the Meow & Furever Stamp again on Blue Raspberry Cardstock with Oreo Ink and then added the cats back into the card front. 

The sentiment is from the Purr-fect Friend Stamp and die cut with Purr-fect Friend Coordinating Dies. These products are available for purchase separately. There is a bundle available.

Here is the card I made with the Dog-Gone Cute Kit. I stamped, stenciled, and die cut the dogs to create this birthday scene.

I used the Here Comes the Sun Stencil to created the card front and then added the grass with Build A Scene - Grassy Hills Dies, and the clouds with the Rainbow Clouds Duo Dies. 

I used the Paw-sitiely Fabulous Stamp Set and Dies to add the sentiment, which is available for purchase. Notice the cut accessories I added like the dog bone and birthday hats. I used the Little Bits Die Set - Pet Accessories. There are dies in set that are perfect for both cats and dogs.

It's Raining Cats and Dogs!

It the Halloween Release at Taylored Expressions!

I love creating Halloween projects! I have three new projects to share with you today with some of the fun, new products from Taylored Expressions. All the new products are available now in the TE Store. Let's get started! 

First up is a look at the Ghost Hugs Die & Clear Stamp Combo. I like a cute Halloween vibe and the cute ghost with all the accessories are perfect for my Halloween projects. I created a card and coordinating tag. 

I used a combination of Licorice, Blue Raspberry, Kiwi, and Candy Corn Cardstock and Inks. To add the polka dot pattern to the banner I used the Polka Chic Background Stamp. The background is stamped with the new Celestial Skies Background Stamp. I stamped with Versamark Ink on Licorice Cardstock and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder. 

The sentiment is stamped with the Ghoul Vibes Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating dies. The card front is die cut with the Squiggle Stacklets. 

I filled a TE Clear Bag with candy and added the ghost tag. 

Next up is a look a the Around Town - Halloween Layering Stencil and the Around Town - Halloween Cutting Plate Die. This is the latest addition to the Around Town Collection. I used Grape Jelly, Candy Corn, Honeydew Melon,  Oreo, and Pineapple Inks to stencil the images. 

For the background I used the Around Town Stencil with Sugar Cube Ink on Licorice Cardstock. Then I lightly splattered gold watercolor on the background and arranged the die cut images. 

The sentiment is from the Haunted Hello Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating dies. I used TE Gold Foil to die cut the small stars with the Little Bits - Stars die set. 

My final project showcased the new Mega Messages- Trick or Treat and the Haunted Boo-levard Stamp Set and Dies. 

To create the background for my card I stamped the Celestial Skies Background Stamp in Versamark Ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock and embossed with TE Gold Sparkle Embossing Powder. Then I used the Build A Scene - Clouds Stencil Strips and starting layering a variety of inks that I have listed below. Then I die cut the panel with the Squiggle Stacklets. 

I die cut the Mega Messages- Trick or Treat sentiment from TE Gold Glitter Cardstock and backed the sentiment with Vellum. I added the ghosts and bats with the Haunted Boo-levard Dies. 

I stamped one of the houses in the Haunted Boo-levard Stamp Set in Oreo Ink and colored with Olo Markers. To create the treat box I used Treats & Trinkets Dies and added the house to the front of the box.
