My first card features four new products. To create the background I stenciled the new Leafy Garden Stencil Collection. This is a set of three stencils.

Next I die cut the heart with the new In Stitches: Hearts Die Set. I used Sweet Blush Cardstock and stitched with a red DMC Embroidery Floss. You really don't have to do the stitching but I do like the added texture.

The flowers and greenery are die cut with the new Build-A-Flower Garden Die Set. I added PTI Pink Gems to the flowers and heart.

The sentiments are from the new This is Big Sentiments: You Stamp Set and Dies.

Stamps: This is Big Sentiments: You

You can add a gift card to the pocket, like I did on this card, or a special note or even cash. I think I will use this die often as we head into the holiday season.

I used a color combo of Pure Poppy, Green Parakeet, Tropical Teal, and Coastal Blue. I used the Build-A-Flower Garden Die Set again to add the flowers and greenery.

I added the gift card pocket to a panel I die cut with the new Lover to Layer: Sweet Scallop Die Set and added the sentiments with the This is Big Sentiments: You Stamp Set and Dies.

Florals and Flutters

It is the last Tuesday of the month and time for a new cardmaking kit at Taylored Expressions. This month's kit is named Florals and Flutter. Along with the pretty Florals and Flutter Background Stamp and Stencil there are the Happy Square Sheets! These sturdy, laminated 6 x 6 in. sheets are designed to help you get more from every stamped or stenciled panel. Simply follow the cutting guides printed right on the sheet to transform one panel into 3 to 5 focal points for coordinating card fronts.

For my first two cards with the Florals and Flutters Cardmaking Kit I used one of the Happy Half Sheet cards for inspiration. The Happy Half Sheet card gives you the measurement for cutting your stenciled panel and along with color inspiration.

I used the colors suggested on the card, Guava, Oat Milk, Peaches n' Cream, and Spearmint.

I used the Florals and Flutters Stamp and Stencil Combo to created the patterned paper. I stamped in Oreo Ink and then stenciled in the colors I listed above. I attached the two stenciled strips to Guava Cardstock that I die cut with the Stitched A2 Layer Stacklets Die Set and matted with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets.

The background is stenciled with the Take Two - Beads and Blooms Stencil. I used Oak Milk Cardstock and stenciled with Spearmint Ink.

Here is my second layout. The sentiments on my cards are from the More Sundry Sentiments Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating dies.

I added Guava Enamel Dots to the centers of some of the flowers.

On my next project I used the stenciled background for the card front. Here I stamped in Oreo Ink and stenciled with Papaya, Confetti Cake, Rock Candy, and Granny Smith Inks.

In the center of card I added a small rectangle of vellum and created the vase and flowers with the Petal Party Dies. I die cut the butterfly with the Flit & Flutter Butterflies Die Set. I added Rock Candy Glitter Drops to the centers of the flowers.

The sentiment is from the new Softly Spoken Stamp Set, which is sold separately.

Happy crafting! Stop by the TE Blog for all the details and more inspiration from the team.

Trendy Tiles

Today I am sharing the first Taylored Expressions Cardmaking Kit for the 2026, Trendy Tiles.  This kit is filled with playful patterns and timeless designs you’ll love reaching for again and again. The kit will work for so many styles and occasions!

Kit Includes:
Trendy Tiles 6x6 Background Stamp
Quatrefoil Cutting Plate Die
Trendy Hellos Stamp & Die Combo
The Insiders - Trendy Tiles

Available for Purchase Outside of the Kit (Add-ons):
Envelope Seals - Trendy Tiles
The Insiders - Trendy Tiles
Quatrefoil Stacklets Die Set
Foil It - Trendy Tiles
Quatrefoil Stencil

When I had my first look at the kit I immediately thought about Italian and Mexican tile work, so that is what I used for inspiration for my two cards. On my first card I wanted the feel of colorful tiles and terracotta. I started by foiling one of the Foil It - Trendy Tiles with TE Copper Foil.

Then I stenciled with the Quatrefoil Stencil using a mix of Sweet Potato and Cinnamon Inks to give the feel of Terracotta. Next I stamped the tile with the Trendy Tiles 6x6 Background Stamp in Rock Candy, Blueberry, Peapod, and Mango Inks and die cut with the Quatrefoil Cutting Plate Die.

The sentiments are from the Trendy Hellos Stamp & Die Combo, which is part of the kit. I brushed Latte Ink on the edges of my die cut to give a more worn look.

I took my inspiration from Italian tiles on my second card. There is something about blue and white tiles I love. I stamped tiles on Sugar Cube Cardstock with Blueberry Ink and then Versamark Ink on Blueberry Cardstock and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder. Then I die cut with the Quatrefoil Cutting Plate Die.

To create the background I die cut a piece of Sea Salt Cardstock with the Quatrefoil Cutting Plate Die and inlaid the dies back into the card front. I added the lemons with the Fresh Squeezed Die Set.

The sentiments are also from the Trendy Hellos Stamp & Die Combo.  I added the center border strip with the More Easy Edges Die.

The Timeless Blooms Cardmaking Kit from Taylored Expressions

I am kicking off the week with the final cardmaking kit from Taylored Expressions this year, Timeless Blooms. The kit includes a beautiful floral stencil and a sentiment stamp set that is perfect for many occasions. I think this kit would be perfect for creating card sets to give as gifts. The kit is available now in the TE Store

I created four cards with the stencil. On this two I used the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stcklets to die cut and mat the stenciled image.

For the flowers I used Peaches n' Cream, Rose Water, Guava, and Fruit Punch Inks and for the leaves Honeydew Melon and Brussels Sprouts.

All the sentiments are from the Together in Type Stamp & Die Combo that is included in the kit.

On my next two cards I used the A2 Layer Stacklets Die Set to die cut the card front and then added the detail around the edges with the Cross Stitch Rectangle Stacklets Die Set.

I added a few of the new Bits & Pieces - Rose Glitter Drops to each card. These are so pretty in person.

I used Fruit Punch Cardstock for all the card bases.

Thanks a Bunch!

There is a sale on the Easy Strips Collection at Taylored Expressions this week, along with a few new products added to the collection. The new Foil It - Playful Patterns for Easy Strips are perfect for adding a little shine to your cards.

For the fun layout of my card I used one of TE's Easy Strips Maps. Using one of the maps makes it so easy to lay down your strips. I used the Easy Strips Die - 1/2" to cut the strips after I foiled them.

I used three TE Fun Foils on my project, Magical, Gold, and Cookie Monster. The Magical Foil is the one that gives you the blend of different colors. After I foiled the strips I kept the negative foil. I added the negative foil to a Gina K Designs Poly-Glaze Sheets - White, and ran it through my Mini Minc Foil Applicator and that gave me the strips with the solid color.

In the center of the card I added a square of white cardstock, ink blended with Salt Water Taffy Ink. The flower stamp is the A Year in Bloom - August stamp and the vase is die cut with the A Year in Bloom Die Set - Vases and Places 2. The sentiment is from the Mini Strips - Floral Stamp Set.

Papertrey Ink July Release Countdown Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink July Release Countdown. This month is full of pretty floral, gardens, and large, focal point sentiments. And today I have a pretty stencil set to share with you. All the new products will be available on July 22nd at 12 PM EDT.

I am loving the new  In the Meadow Stencil Collection. This is a set of six stencil which give you all the details and options for color variation. I used Sweet Blush, Autumn Rose, and Scarlet Jewel inks for the flowers and Simply Chartreuse and Ripe Avocado for the greenery.

The sentiments are from the new This is Big Sentiments: Wishes Stamp Set. There are two font choices for the word Wishes and coordinating dies. Then there are great choices for the smaller sentiment, making the set perfect for many different occasions.

I used the On the Edge: Scallops Collection Die to add the vertical border.

Supplies:

Stamps: This is Big Sentiments: Wishes
Dies: This is Big Sentiments: Wishes, On the Edge: Scallops Collection Die
Ink: Sweet Blush, Autumn Rose, Scarlet Jewel, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, Olive
Paper: Stamper's Select White, Sweet Blush, Scarlet Jewel
Other: In the Meadow Stencil Collection, Twine, Pink Jewels

Next up is a look at the Mat Stack: Thank You So Much Collection. The collection includes the large sentiment die, a set of dies to add the sentiment to, and three stencils in different patterns. I didn't use the stencils in the collection on this card but I will have a card to share tomorrow that does.

I used the In the Meadow Stencil Collection again with a different color combo, which I have listed below. After the stenciled the background I used the larger in the Die Mat Stack: Thank You So Much Die Set to die cut center of the stencil pattern. I put the die cut back into the card with form tape so that it would stand out from the background.

I lightly splattered dark blue watercolor on the background and finished off with some crinkle ribbon.

Supplies:

Dies: Mat Stack: Thank You So Much Collection
Ink: Hawaiian Shores, Tropical Teal, Enchanted Evening, Dark Indigo, New Leaf, Pinefeather, Aqua Mist
Paper: Stamper's Select White, Aqua Mist, Dark Indigo
Other: In the Meadow Stencil Collection, Crinkle Ribbon, Dark Blue Paint
