Seeds & Such Cardmaking Kit

It is the last Tuesday of month and time for a new cardmaking kit from Taylored Expressions! The new Seeds & Such Cardmaking Kit is a fun one!

I created four projects to share with you today, two card and two seed packets.

There are four vegetable images in the kit that can be stenciled and die cut. The Seeds & Such - Vegetable Garden Dies are available for purchase separately for the kit. I stamped the Seeds & Such Background Stamp and then die cut with the Seeds & Such Dies and added the tomatoes to the center of the background.

I used the Seeds & Such - Vegetables Clear Stamp to stamp all the sentiments and die cut the sentiments with the Seeds & Such - Vegetables Dies. The bottom sentiment is stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder.

I used the Checking In Background Stamp for the checked background and matted the card front with the largest die in the A2 Postage Stamp Stacklets Die Set.

Here is another version of the card with the carrots and Peapod cardstock and ink.

There are many options for sentiments in the set. I added twine to the top of each card.

I also created two seed packets with the Petite Packet Die. The die creates this cute packet and a gift card fits perfectly inside, or you could add seeds or other small items.

Christmas Gift Giving with Taylored Expressions

Hi! There is a new release at Taylored Expressions today and it is all about gifting! We have ideas for tags, gift card holders, a Santa Gnome and some pretty home decor. All the products are available now in the TE Store

My first project uses the Create-A-Keepsake Holiday Panels. There are six designs in the set, 2 of each sentiment, and the panels can per foiled. The panel fits in a 4 x 6 frame. I chose with work with the Merry and Bright sentiment and I foiled with TE Gold Shimmer Fun Foil.

I knew I wanted to use felt for some of my embellishments. I went through my holiday options and I decided on working with the Get Thready - Tag Tree Die and the Roll With It Flower Dies 1 and 3. I die cut the leaves with a leaf in the Autumn Blessings Dies and the gold branches with the Pine Clippings Dies.

I used a glue gun to add the embellishments to the frame. I added Red Glitter Drops to the tree and Gold Glitter Drops to the center of the flower.

Next up are some fun projects with the new Gnome Alone - Santa Die. I created a card, a gift card holder, and a tag with the die set.

The Gnome Alone - Santa Die Set includes all the dies to create this Santa. I love the addition of the mittens and Santa's bag. I used white felt to add the trim to the hat and under the belt. I used a white gel pen to highlight the snowflake on the mittens.

The background is stenciled with the Nordic Snowflake Stencil using Cherry Pop ink, I also added a few Bits & Pieces - Snowflakes. The sentiment if from the Jingle All the Way Stamp Set and die cut with the Jingle All the Way Dies.

I love having some cute gift card holders ready to go for the holidays. They just make the gift card a little more special! This gift card holder is easy to create with the Tag Pocket 2 Die. I stenciled with the Mini Slim Stencil - Candy Cane Stripes Stencil with Sugar Cube Ink. The sentiment is from the  Exclamation Points Die & Clear Combo and it contains sentiments you can use throughout the year.

We have a new tag die set, Tag Stacklets 4, being released along with the Tag Trimmings Stamp Set that I used to add the snowflake border.

Papertrey Ink August Release Countdown Day 1

Hi Crafters! Today is Day 1 of the Papertrey Ink August Release Countdown. This release is all about Fall and Halloween. All the new products will be available for purchase on August 29th at 10 ET. I will be sharing my projects over the next four days.

My first card features the new Fresh Florals Stamps and Dies and the Exquisite Leaf Frame Hot Foil Plate. First I cut a piece of Stamper's Select White Cardstock to fit the card front and the used Gold Foil with the Exquisite Leaf Frame Hot Foil Plate using my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System

Next I stamped a variety of leaves and flowers from the Fresh Florals Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Fresh Florals Dies. I used a variety of fall colored inks that are listed below. I used the middle sized die in the Love to Layer: Rectangles, die cutting with Stampers Select White Cardstock. Then I blended Plum Pudding, Harvest Gold, and Lemon Tart Inks.

I finished the card off with a few Gold Jewels.

Supplies:

Stamps: Fresh Florals
Dies: Fresh Florals, Love to Layer: Rectangle
Ink: Plum Pudding, Ripe Avocado, Pure Poppy, Scarlet Jewel, Olive, Simply Chartreuse, Honey Nut, Lemon Tart, Summer Sunrise, Classic Kraft, Winter Wisteria
Paper: Stamper's Select White, Plum Pudding, Ripe Avocado
Other: Exquisite Leaf Frame Hot Foil Plate, Gold Foil, Gold Jewels

Next I have a number of ideas for using the Spooky Treats Labels Stamps and Dies and the new Frightful Frames Dies. I started with a card. Since my daughters are grown up I went with a more elegant Halloween vibe. I foiled the Exquisite Leaf Frame Hot Foil Plate with gold foil on True Black Cardstock. Inside the foiled frame I added on of the Frightful Frames Die with patterned paper behind the frame.

Then I added one of the Spooky Treats Labels to the center of the card. I added a few floral accents with the Fresh Florals Stamp Set. The pumpkin is created with the previously released Into the Blooms: Pumpkins, one of favorite dies.

Next up is a treat box I created with the previously released Scalloped Treat Box Die. I used a different label and frame on each card so you could see the variety in the sets.

I hung this label with a die that is included in the Spooky Treat Labels Die Set, as is the October 31st stamp.

Next is a tag that can be attached to a treat bag or spooky surprise. I used the Love to Layer: Beautiful Bracket Die for the base of the tag.

My fourth project is created with the Brew To Go Die. The coffee cup holds a gift card that can be inserted at the top of the band around the cup.

Supplies:

Stamps: Spooky Treat Labels, Fresh Florals
Dies: Spooky Treat Labels, Fresh Florals, Frightful Frames, Into the Blooms: Pumpkins, Love to Layer: Beautiful Bracket, Brew To Go, Scalloped Treat Box
Ink: Orange Zest, Terracotta Tile, Lemon Tart, Scarlet Jewel, Ripe Avocado, Plum Pudding, Winter Wisteria, True Black, Classic Kraft, Harvest Gold, Pure Poppy, Simply Chartreuse
Paper: Plum Pudding, True Black, Orange Zest, Stamper's Select White, Gold, Simply Chartreuse
Other: Gold Foil, Gold Jewels, Foam Tape, Glue, Bakers Twine

Thanks for taking a look! I will be back tomorrow with more new projects.

There are so many Stand Alone Dies to chose from in the sale. For my example I used the Pretty Package Die. This die creates a quick and easy gift card holder. When you pull on the bow the gift card holder comes out. You could decorate the package that hold the gift card for holidays, birthdays, thank yous, and more!

On my first example I used the Scattered Floral Stencil with Guava Ink on Rose Water Cardstock. I used Rose Gold Foil Cardstock for the trimming. The small tag is included in the Pretty Pack Die and the sentiments are stamped with the Itty Bitty Sentiments Stamp Set.

On my Birthday Gift Card Holder I used the Bokeh Layering Stencil, one of my favorite stencils. I used Mint Julep, Blue Raspberry and Blueberry Ink on Mint Julep Cardstock.

Perfect Present-ation from Taylored Expressions

There is a new release today from Taylored Expressions! TE is releasing a collection of new products that are perfect for adding that special touch to your holiday gifts. I have ideas for cute tags, treat holders, and the cutest snowmen!

My first project features the adorable Cool Crew Dies! How cute will these snowmen look sitting on my mantle this Christmas, or as part of a table center piece, or make a cute gift for a friend.

You know I love the little details and creating these snowmen were so much fun. I used glitter cardstock, felt, and lot of Bits & Pieces embellishments along with a variety of colors of cardstock.

The snowmen die cuts the eyes and buttons and I added Oreo cardstock behind each snowman.

Next up are the tags I created with the new Holiday Squad Die & Clear Combo. I used the Pierced Tag Stacklets 2 and the Tag Stacklets 2 dies for the base of each tag and the Gingham Checked Background Stamp for the background of each tag.

I die cut each face from white cardstock and then colored with Copic Markers. Then I used the clear stamps or die cuts to add the features to each face. I used white felt to add the trim to the hat and the collar of the jacket.

The sentiments are die cut with the All Together Stamp Set and All Together Dies. The Holiday Squad die set allows you add so many great details, including the holly leaves.

Here a look at Mrs. Claus. I stamped her glasses in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I added Baker's Twine to each tag to attach the tags to the gift.

These cute Christmas Tress are so easy to create with the Tree Treat Wrap Die, and the Tree Top Stamp Set. They can hold a sweet tree, a gift card, and I think they would make great place cards for the Christmas table.

I added the Walnut Wood Tree Trunks to the bottom of each tree with glue. There are four different designs in the Tree Lot Stamp Set. You can stamp in Versamark Ink and emboss with with different colors of embossing powder or pick you favorite inks to stamp the design.

You can also play around with different color combos like Cupcake and Fruit Punch cardstock with Rose Gold Foil and Rose Gold embossing powder. The tree on the left uses another new product, the Get Thready - Tag Tree Die.

Right now through Sunday, October 23rd, purchase the Tree Lot Bundle (Get Thready - Tag Tree die collection, Tree Treat Wrap die collection, and Tree Lot stamp set) for $68 and receive walnut tree trunks (set of 10) plus 3 skeins of light effect embroidery floss (red, green, and gold) for FREE. You'll be able to create unique and adorable tree tags and treat wraps for the holiday season with this bundle of products! Offer valid while supplies last.
