Papertrey Ink April Release Day 4

Hi and welcome to Day 4 of the Papertrey Ink April Release Countdown. I have two more projects with a kitchen theme to share with you today.  All the new products will be available tomorrow, April 22nd at 12 pm EST. 

I just love the new Mom's Kitchen Stamp Set and coordinating Dies! I decide to go for a modern sleek kitchen feel with black cabinets, brass handles, and a quartz counter top. I used True Black cardstock for the cabinet, Gold Cardstock for the handles, and stamped the countertop and background with the Weathered Wood Background Stamp with Soft Stone ink to give the look of quartz. 

Here is a closer look at the items I added to the countertop. I added in a little more gold by stamping the cake stand, whisk, and beater on the mixer in Versamark ink and embossing with gold embossing powder. 

The sentiment is from the new Seasoned with Lover Stamp Set.

Next up is a look at the In Stitches: Adorable Apron Dies. There are two different options for the apron in the die set. I used pattern paper and then added the stitching with DMC Embroidery Floss. I created kitchen utensils to add to the pocket and the rolling pin. 

I used the Mom's Kitchen Stencil to created the background. You could used the stencil on its own and just add a sentiment for a quick and easy card. 

This sentiment is also from the Seasoned With Love Stamp Set.

Papertrey Ink April Release Day 4

The For Her Release at Taylored Expressions

The For Her release at Taylored Expressions focuses on celebrating all women as well as celebrating all stages of motherhood for Mother's Day! All the new products are available now in the TE Store. 

My first card features the new Bouquet Wrap Die, the Weathered Wood Background Stamp, the Itty Bitty Sentiments Stamp Set and Itty Bitty Tags 3, along with the new 6 x 6 Brown Paper Stack.

First I die cut flowers and greenery with the Garden Variety 2 Dies from the card stock color I linked below. Then I added some ink blending to each die cut for added detail. To create the wrap I die cut with the new Bouquet Wrap Die for the new 6 x 6 Brown Paper Stack. The Brown Paper Stack is a thin, light weight paper that is perfect for this type of die. I stamped the paper with the new Weathered Wood Background Stamp in Toffee Ink. 

The background is stamped with the previously released Checking In Background Stamp with Macaron Ink. I added the sentiment to the Bouquet Wrap with the new Itty Bitty Sentiments Stamp Set - Everyday and die cut with the new Itty Bitty Tags 2 Die set.  The addition sentiments are from the Mini Strips - Birthday Stamp Set. 

Next up is a look at the Heartfelt Blooms Stamp and Stencil Combo. The stamp stamps the greenery and then there are three stencils to add the details. I have listed the inks I used below. Then I die cut the image with the coordinating Heartfelt Blooms Dies. 

I added the sentiment to the bouquet with the new Itty Bitty Sentiments Stamp Set - Everyday and die cut with the new Itty Bitty Tags 2 Die set, then used twine to tie the sentiment to the stems. The additional sentiments are from the Mini Strips - Birthday Stamp Set. 

Behind the bouquet I added a panel of Sugar Cube Cardstock that die cut with the Cloudy Skies Piercing Plate and then blended with Rose Water Ink. I added the frame with Frame in Frame Cutting Plate. I added the small hearts with the Little Bits - Hearts Dies.

Papertrey Ink March Release Countdown Day 2

Hi and welcome to Day 2 day of the Papertrey Ink March Release Countdown. I have two projects to share with you today. All the new products will be available on March 26th at 10 PM ET. 

My first project today features the beautiful Into the Blooms: Big Blooms Dies. I die cut all the flower pieces from Stamper's Select White Card and then ink blended the flower with Dark Indigo, Enchanted Evening, Tropical Teal, Hawaiian Shores, and Aqua Mist Inks. The leaves are blending with New Leaf and Pinefeather Inks. 

I die cut flourishes in each of the corners with the Cornered: Flourish Dies and added Dark Indigo Cardstock behind the die cuts. 

I added the flower to an oval die cut with the Love to Layer: Oval Dies. The sentiment is from the new Mother's Day Sentiments Stamp Set.

Next up is an another look at the Mother's Day Sentiments and Dies. I added the sentiment to hearts die cut with the Love to Layer: Rounded Hearts Die and stenciled with the Perfect Present Stencil Collection. 

The flowers and leaves are created with a stamp set includes in this month's Pro Stamper's Box. The smaller sentiment is also part of the Mother's Day Sentiments Stamp Set. 

The background is die cut with the Cover Plate: Decorative Circles Die.

Papertrey Ink March Release Countdown Day 2

The For Her Release from Taylored Expressions

Happy Tuesday! Today's projects are created with new products from Taylored Expressions, The Four Her Release celebrates the women in your life along with pretty floral options you can used throughout the year. All the products are available now in the TE Store. 

My first two cards are created with the new Buds & Blossoms Stamp and Stencil Combo. I choose two different color combos to work with on my cards. 

On my first card I stamped the stems in Mocha Ink and then stenciled with the leaves with Granny Smith and Cilantro Ink. For the buds I used Peaches n' Cream, Guava, and Fruit Punch. I love these colors together. I also splattered a little white paint on the background. 

To create the frames I used the largest die in the  Frame in Frame 3 Cutting Plate, cutting directly into the stenciled  cardstock. Then I cut the frame two more times from Sugar Cube cardstock. I glued the three die cut frames together and inlayed the center back in the frame. This makes the frame stand out. 

The sentiment is from the new Sentiment Staples Stamp Set and die cut the the coordinating Sentiment Staples Dies. To create the Oval Frame  I used the Inside Scallop Stacklets and the Stitched Oval Stacklets, adding  an oval of vellum behind the frame. 

I added the sweet buds to the frame with the new Little Bit - Buds and Blooms Dies. 

My second card uses Mint Julep and Spearmint Inks for the leaves. For the buds I used Salt Water Taffy, Confetti Cake, and Blue Raspberry Inks and Macaron and Dried Fig. The branches are stamped in Mocha Ink. 

I stamped another sentiment from the Sentiment Staples Stamp Set, stamping in Versamark Ink and embossing with white embossing powder. The circle frame is created with Stitched Circle Stacklets and Inside Circle Stackles. 

Next up is two more cards that feature the Boots and Blossoms Layering Stancil and coordinations Boots and Blossoms Dies. 

The Boots and Blossoms Layering Stancil is a set of four stencils that create a boot and a watering can. After I stenciled I added Happy Medium - Iridescent Glitter and added Tiny Diamonds to the center of the flower. 

The sentiments are from the new Mix & Match For Her Stamps Set and die cut with the Modern Sentiment Labels Dies. 

I stenciled the background with the Set the Scene - Clouds Stencil Strips and the die cut additional clouds with the Rainbow Cloud Duo and grass with the Build a Scene - Grassy Hills die set.  The sentiments are from the Mix & Match For Her Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinations Mix & Match For Her Dies. 

Here is a look at the stenciled water can. I stamped the sentiments in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne and embossed with TE Clear Embossing Powder. 

I used the Stitched Circle Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Circle Stacklets to die cut the circle.

The For Her Release from Taylored Expressions

Papertrey Ink March Release Countdown Day 3

Hi and welcome to Day 3 of the Papertrey Ink's March Release Countdown. Today I have cards for Mom and the special friends in your life. Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM ET on Tuesday, March 28th.   

My first card features the Delightful Mini Blooms Stamp Set and Dies and the My Mom Dies. I love that the mini blooms are designed to fit around and in the MOM sentiment. I die cut MOM directly into the white cardstock. There are two dies that have pattern that fit behind the cut out letters. 

I created the background with the new Stitch Crochet Stencils using Spring Rain and Ocean Tides Inks. 

The smaller sentiment is from the Larger Than Life: Mom Sentiments. I stamped in Blueberry Sky Ink.

My second card features the Tuck It Sentiments Stamps and Dies and the Wildflower Fields Stamps and Dies. First I stamped a variety of flowers from the Wildflower Fields Stamp Set. You can see the ink colors I used listed below. 

Then I used the Tuck It Sentiments Stamps and dies to create the area where I could tuck the flowers into the card front. 

I stenciled sun rays in the background and added another sentiment from the Tuck It Sentiments.

Papertrey Ink March Release Countdown Day 3

Pretty Florals!

Hi! Today Taylored Expression is releasing some pretty new products full of flowers! Perfect to create cards to celebrate moms, birthdays, and to send love to all the special people in your life. The Release is available now in the TE Store. 

I have three projects to share with you so let's get started! 

First up is a look at the new Fancy Florets Stamp Set and coordinating Fancy Florets Dies. I think these stamps are so pretty. You can watercolor, color with Copic Markers, and blend with inks! I chose to watercolor the flowers and leaves. I stamped the images in Versamark Ink on TE Watercolor paper and embossed with gold embossing powder. Then I watercolored the flowers with TE Raspberry Sorbet Liquid Watercolor and the leaves with Spearmint Liquid Watercolor. 

Next I cut a piece of Cupcake Cardstock to fit behind the watercolored flower. I stenciled with Cupcake Ink and the Pretty Petals Stencil. I cut a piece of Vellum to fit over the card front to soften the background pattern. Then sentiment is from the new Signature Sentiments. I love this new font! I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I finished off the card by adding Gold Drip Dots to the center of the flowers. 

Next up is a look at the new Mini Slim Botanical Background Stamp, the Mini Slim Botanical Die, and the Masking Stencil - Mini Slim Thin Rectangles. I stamped the Mini Slim Botanical Background Stamp in Oreo Ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. I used the masking stencil to add Sprinkles Ink to the center of the rectangle. 

The sentiment is from the new Mini Slim Botanicals Sentiments. Some of the sentiments stamp vertically and some of sentiments stamp horizontally. I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE Black Embossing Powder. Then I die cut the sentiment with one of the dies in the Mini Slim Botanical Die. I blended Mint Julep Ink on the background. 

The rectangular panels are die cut with the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets. The background is stenciled with the Mini Slim Stencil - Floral Lattice. The last detail is the addition of black twine wrapped around the card. 

My final card features the new Flower Patch Background Stamp and the Flower Patch Layering Stencil. I stamped the background in Oreo Ink and then used Flower Patch Layering Stencil and my TE Blender Buushes to add the coloring. 

The sentiment is created with the Get the Word Out -Mother's Day Stamp and coordinating Die. The circular frame is die cut with the Stitched Circle Stacklets and the Inside Scallop Circle Stacklets.
