It's Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink May Release Countdown!

Hi and welcome to the Day 1 of the Papertrey Ink May Release Countdown! Today my cards are all about welcoming new babies in the world.  All the new products will be available on May 26th at 12 PM EDT. 

My first two cards today feature the Quilt-It-Baby Die Set and the This is Big Sentiments: Welcome. I really like the idea of quilt squares. There are two different size options for the quilt squares. This is the smaller one. I have listed the cardstocks and ink colors I used below. 

I created the star pattern and die cut the quilt squares from white cardstock. Then I blended Spring Rain Ink to help highlight the stitching. I used Blueberry Sky Cardstock for the card front and used the previously release Cover Plate: Handmade Quilt Die to add the pattern. 

The sentiments are from the new This is Big Sentiments: Welcome. The hat is die cut with dies in the new Build-A-Bear Dies Set.

This is the larger option for the quilt square. I stamped the patterns on colored cardstock, colors listed below. After I stamped the pattern I stamped the stitching. I used the Cover Plate: Handmade Quilt Die to add the pattern to the quilt square. 

I added the clouds with the new In Stitches: Starry Skies. There are dies for clouds and stars in this set. 

I used a mix of the Bitty Big Collection: Pale Peony and the Bitty Big Collection: Spring Moss patterned paper for the card front. These are more sentiments from the This is Big Sentiments: Welcome.

Next up is a look at the cute new Build-A-Bear Dies Set. There are many options for dressing up your bear including some patriotic options. I am going to a baby shower soon so I went with the baby girl option. 

I die cut the bear from white cardstock and then used Distress Inks in Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy to add the color. I added the flower and leaves with the Into the Blooms: Pressed Flowers Die. 

The sentiment is from the This is Big Sentiments: Welcome. The card front is die cut with the Cover Plate: Gathering Florals.

It's Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink May Release Countdown!

Pick Your Pairings

Hi and welcome to a  look at the Pick Your Pairing Release at Taylored Expressions. Twice a year, we invite our Fans of TE Facebook community to share ideas for coordinating products that would enhance or extend items they already love. 

First up is a look at the Onesie Funsie Clear Stamp Set - Grandparents addition. This is a new sentiment set that coordinates with the previously released Onesie Funsie Dies. 

I love the idea of sentiments for new grandparents! Here I added hearts to the onesie with the Mini Slim Stencil - Sweet Hearts and then stamped the sentiment. I added the baby themed embellishments with the Bundle of Joy Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. I added the flowers with the Fresh Cut Flowers Die Set. 

The background is embossed with the Lots of Love 3D Embossing Folder. The bottom sentiment is from the Mini Strips - Baby Stamp Set and die cut with the Mini Strips Die. 

I added one of  the Insiders - Grandparents panels to the inside of the card. 

Here is the second version of the card using most of the same products I used on the first card. 

I stamped the background and onesie with the Celestial Skies Background Stamp using Tiki Mule Ink on Royal Icing Cardstock. 

You can foil the Insiders panels. Here I used Blueberry Foil. 

Next I created a few tags with the Bitty Strips - Everyday Occasions and coordinating Bitty Strips Die and a few more of the new products. This set of tags showcase the Seasonal Sprig Stamp Set and coordinating Seasonal Sprig Foil It and Dies. I have listed the Foils and ink colors I used below. 

I die cut the stenciled image and cut it fit the tag. The tag is created with the Simple Tags Die and Backer Die. 

These tags are created with the Create in Quad Layering Stencil - Smiley Squad + Clear Add-Ons, C'mon on Get Happy Stamp Set, and the Smiley Squad Clear Stamp and Die Combos. These sentiments are also included in the Bitty Strips - Everyday Occasions Stamp Set. 

How cute are these smiley faces!

Papertrey Ink May Release Countdown Day 4

Welcome to the 4th and final day of the Papertrey Ink May Release. I have two more projects to share with you.  All the new products will be available tomorrow, May 27th at 12pm EDT. 

My first card features the adorable new Build-A-Buggy Die Set and This is Big Sentiments: Baby Stamp Set and coordinating dies. There are so many options in the die set to create different types of buggies and the coordinating Build-A-Stencils allow you to add pattern. You can see how I stenciled the Swiss dots on the top of the buggy. 

I love the addition of the clouds in the set. I used a gold foil cardstock for a touch of bling. I attached the buggy to an oval that is die cut with the Love to Layer: Scalloped Ovals. I used Stamper Select White Cardstock that is ink blended with Sweet Blush Ink. 

The sentiments are from the new This is Big Sentiments: Baby and die cut with the coordinating dies. I used the Cover Plate: Tin Stitches to add the texture to the card front.

Next up is a look at the Into the Blooms: Lemon Blossoms Dies. I love the details on the lemons. I die cut the lemons from white cardstock and then blending Lemon Tart and Summer Sunrise Inks. The leaves are blended with New Leaf and Pinefeather and I added a little Aqua Mist Ink to the white flowers. 

I arranged the leaves on a rectangle that is die cut with the Love to Layer: Deckled Edges dies. I stenciled the background with a cloud stencil and Aqua Mist Ink and then splattered an aqua watercolor on the background. 

The card front is stenciled with the new Life's Lemons Stencil. The sentiment is from the new Main Squeeze Stamp Set.

Papertrey Ink May Release Countdown Day 4

Milestone Moments with Taylored Expressions

This week Taylored Expressions is releasing Milestone Moments filled with celebratory products for life's big occasions! Think wedding, baby, and graduation! All the new products are available now in the TE Store. 

My daughter's and nieces and all having babies! And they are all girls! So new baby products are perfect! My card is created with the new Shake, Rattle, & Roll Die and Clear Stamp Combo, and the Bundle of Joy Stamp Set. I used the Shaker Bubble Set with the Shake, Rattle, & Roll Die and the Bits & Pieces - Hello Baby to create the shaker rattle. 

I created with background with the Bundle of Joy Stamp Set, using the onesie stamp and stamping in a variety of colors. I also added small hearts with the Shake, Rattle, & Roll Die and Clear Stamp Combo using Rose Gold Foil. 

I added the frame with the Frame in Frame 3 Cutting Plate. 

This beautiful wedding card is so easy to create with the new Floral Embrace Die and the Today & Always Stamp Set. TE is also adding the A7 Layer Stacklets Die to the Stacklets line of products, making 5 x 7 cards an easy option. 

I used the Floral Embrace die to die the vertical border. Floral Embrace Die, which is sized to fit on the  A7 card, wraps around edge of the card and the Today & Always sentiments fit perfectly on the right side of the card. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

I finished off the card by splattering gold paint on the background and adding Gold Glitter Dots to the centers of the flowers. 

I created my second card in the same manner but I framed the sentiment on a rectangle die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and matted with the Petite Scallop Stacklets. 

Here I splattered white paint and added Bits & Pieces - Pearl Drip Dots.

Papertrey Ink Release Day 4

My first card is created with the Go-To Gift Card Holder: Diaper Bag. The diaper bag die creates a space to insert a gift card, but you can used it with or with out a gift card. 

Here's a picture without the gift card. I just love the little bear peeking out the pocket! There are many dies in the set to create baby themed items. 

The background is stenciled with the Baby Clouds Stencil using Pale Peony Ink on Sweet Blush Cardstock. After I stenciled I die cut the card front with the new Fantastic Front Scalloped Frame. I added a sentiment from the new Baby Elephant Stamp Set and Dies.

I love Papertrey's floral sets and the new Breathtaking Blooms Stamps and Dies are no exception. I have listed the ink colors of ink I used below but I went with a aqua, purple, yellow, green, and dark blue combo.

I used the new Love to Layer: Arches dies to cut the the oval panels, using vellum and Stamper's Select White Cardstock. 

The sentiments are from the Birthday Your Way II Stamp Set and the background is die cut from Tropical Teal Cardstock with the Cover Plate: Cross Stitched Die.

Thanks for stopping by for Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink June Release Countdown. I have two more cards to share with you today. All the new products will be available on June 25th at 10 PM ET.  

First up is a look at the adorable Baby Elephant Stamp Set and Dies. One of my daughters and one of my nieces are both expecting girls in November so I had to go pink.

I stamped the with a black ink outline and a pale grey for the body and then I added a little shading with Copic Markers. There are quite a few detail stamps in the set. I added the grass, stones, flower, and a bow. 

I stenciled the background with the new Baby Clouds Stencil and Pale Peony ink on Sweet Blush Cardstock. The card is framed with the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame Die and sentiment is included in the Baby Elephant Stamp Set.

I stamped a variety  of the fun elements in the set and die cut with the Soak Up the Fun Dies. I added a little glitter of my splashes of water with Stickles. 

The background is stenciled with the Pool Water Stencil with Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, and Tropical Teal Ink. The sentiment is included the stamp set.
