Holiday Joy

Hi Friends! I am finishing off my Christmas cards and have one more to share that I created with some products from Pretty Pink Posh. I love creating for the holidays! I am always a little sad when the season is over!

For this card I went with traditional colors. I started with a red card stock for the card front and die cut a window with the Window Frames Dies. Next I randomly stamped snowflakes from the Winter Wonderland Stamp Set in white pigment ink and then embossed with white embossing powder. I sponged on distress ink along the edges to add a little more depth and splattered the card from with white paint.

The sweet images are from the Christmas Friends Stamp Set , colored with Copics, and die cut with the Christmas Friends Coordinating Dies. The sentiment and the branches are from the Holiday Greeting Stamp Set that will be release at a later date. The card is finished off with the Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

25 Days of Christmas Tags with Pretty Pink Posh

Hi and Happy Thanksgiving! I am so excited today to be part of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags hosted by Tracey McNeely. Today Tracey is featuring Pretty Pink Posh and I have a gift card holder tag to share with you that I created with the Christmas Friends Stamp Set.

Be sure to visit Tracey's blog for all the details, including how you can join in the fun for a chance to win prizes.

I covered a tag with patterned paper and then cut a second patterned paper to form the pocket for the gift card. I used the Pocket Border Die to cut the half circle at the top of the pocket. I used double sided tape down each side and on the bottom of the pocket, leaving the top edge open so I could add the gift card.

The sweet stamped image is from the  Christmas Friends Stamp Set, colored with Copic Markers, and die cut with the Christmas Friends Coordinating Dies. I added the border of snow the with Scallop Borders Dies. The sentiment is from the Holiday Greetings Stamp Set.

Be sure to visit Tracey's blog for her tag as well as links to the rest of the PPP designers sharing project today.

Have a wonderful day!

Holiday Gift Card Holders

Hi! I am up on the Maya Road Design Team Blog today sharing a couple of projects.  But sure to stop by the blog for lots of inspiration!
I like to have some small gifts ready to go for those special people in my life that I want to send some holiday cheer and just say thank you. Like my hair stylist who keeps my hair looking great all year! I usually pick up a few gift cards and to make those gift cards a little more special I create a few gift card holders. I have two ideas to share with you.

First up is a card with a pocket to hold a gift card. I cut patterned paper for the card front and a second pattern paper, shorter in length, to form the pocket. To attached the pocket to the card front I used a double sided tape down each side and across the bottom, leaving the top open to form the pocket.
I used the Enjoy Coffee Die Bundle to die cut the coffee cup and spoon. I used a corrugated paper to cut the center strip on the cup.

I added a Metal Charm to the center of the cup. I wanted the metal to be a little more gold so I inked the metal with gold pigment ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. The sentiment is cut with the Merry Christmas Steel Dies

For my second project I created a tag to hold the gift card. I covered a tag with patterned paper and formed a pocket like I did on the card. I added an eyelet to the top of the tag and and strung Twine Cording to tie the tag to a package.

The larger deer is die cut with the So Deer Steel Die from kraft card stock and I added a little glitter to the deer. Then I attached a smaller Oh Deer Resin Charms in Cream. The word "wish" and the star are die cut with the Fanciful Wish Steel Die from gold, glitter card stock.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope I have inspired you to get creative with gift card holders!

There's Snow One Like You

Hi and thanks for stopping by! It is hard to believe Thanksgiving is next week. We are definitely headed into that busy time of year so I am always happy to add one more card that is ready to go to my stash. Today I have a card to share that I created with some new products from Pretty Pink Posh

I started by using the Stitched Pieces Die to cut the windows in the card front and then splattered white paint. Behind the window I stamped snowflakes and a sentiment from the Winter Wonderland Stamp Set. I added the hill of snow to the bottom of the card with the Scallop Borders Dies.

The stamped images are from the Winter Wonderland Stamp Set, colored with Copic Markers, and die cut with the Winter Wonderland Coordinating Dies

I finished the card off with 4mm Clear Droplets and 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - At Home

Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog!  It is time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - At Home.

I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge.

To create my card I used the Chalet Clear Stamp Set and coordinating Chalet Elle-ments from Avery Elle, along with dies and sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. The images are colored with Copic Markers. I highlighted the tree with a white colored pencil and added glitter to the roof and the tree.

From Pretty Pink Posh, the frame is cut from a white glittered card stock with the Scallop Frames Dies, the hill with the Scallop Borders Dies, and red sequins from the 4mm Classic Christmas Sequins Mix

It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions!

It's release day at Taylored Expressions! All the new November products are available at the TE web store NOW. I hope you have been inspired by all the sneak peeks to create a few handmade gift this holiday season.

Today I am showcasing the Build a Scene Calendar 2 Die I used the die to create my calendar. You can find that post here. Today I am sharing cards I created with the same die.

The Build a Scene Calendar 2 Die along with the new Flowers for a Year Stamp Set and coordinating dies are a perfect match! For my first card I went with a holiday theme. You can never have too many Christmas cards ready to go!

I embossed the background with the Brick Embossing Folder and highlighted the brick with Copic Markers. The snow hill is cut with the Build a Scene - Rolling Hills and the sentiment is from the Flowers for a Year Stamp Set. The snowflakes to dies cut with the Little Bits - Snowflakes Die.

On my second card I went with a totally different feel. I stamped the new Notable Blooms Background on Sugar Cube Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I created the window scene with the same dies and stamps as the first card! Behind the window I embossed Sugar Cube Card Stock with the Bead Board Embossing Folder.

I accented the bottom of the card with the Picket Fence Die and the Grass Border Die.

Thanks for visiting! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete list of our participating designers!
