Hi! I am popping in today with a Mother's Day Card I created with the Big Blooms - Fuchsia Stamp Set from Taylored Expressions. Long cards are popular right now and I had been wanting to give it try. This stamp set worked perfectly!

I started by stamping the flowers and the leaves from the Big Blooms - Fuchsia Stamp Set  and colored with Copic Markers. Next die cut the stamped images with the Big Blooms - Fuchsia Die. Then I cut a long panel of Lavender Glaze Cardstock for the card front and stenciled the background with the Herringbone Stencil and Lavender Glaze Ink.

I used the Stitched Circle Stacklets to cut the circle and mat the circle in the middle of the card front. In the center of the circle I stamped a sentiment from the Penned Pretty Stamp Set.

Here is a look at the inside of card. I lightly stamped the fuchsia in Lavender Glaze on Lavender Glaze Cardstock. I also added a sentiment from the new The Inside Scoop - For Her Stamp Set in Jelly Donut Ink.

Thanks for taking a look!

Happy Spring!

Hi Crafters! Today I am sharing another "happy" card with some new products from Pretty Pink Posh. I find myself gravitating to pretty spring colors right now and making uplifting cards to send to people.

The centerpiece of this card is the Spring Scene Die. To create the scene I die cut the die several times from different colors of cardstock for the grass and the flowers. I also die cut once from white cardstock. For the sky I brushed on pale blue ink and then inlayed the flowers and the leaves.

I used one of the borders in the Eyelet Borders Dies to die cut the edge of a piece of patterned paper. On the bottom half of the card I brushed on pale yellow ink and stamped a sentiment from the Bunny Friends Stamp Set. I finished off the card with Lemon From Jewels.

Thanks for visiting this week! Take care!

Pretty Tulips

Hi All! Hope you had a good weekend, although I will say the days seem to blending together! It is going rain all week here so I will have to starting finding new exercise videos! I am continuing to work on my stash of birthday cards. Today I have a card to share that I created with the Tulips Stamp Set  from  Pretty Pink Posh.

I started by stamping and coloring the tulips with Copic Markers and die cutting the flowers with the Tulips Coordinating Dies. (Products are linked below) I used the colors I decided on for the tulips as inspiration for the background.  I blended Distress Ink in Shabby Shutters, Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey, and Squeezed Lemonade.

I added the frame around the flowers with the Scallop Frames Dies. I die cut the word happy with the Happy Birthday Script Dies and added the birthday sentiment with with Party Friends Stamp Set. The final touch are a few Clear Droplets that look like drops of water.

Thanks for visiting and have keep safe!

Sending You Sunshine

I hope you are all doing okay! I am going a little stir crazy and truly the hardest part of this is not being able to see my family and friends. I have been spending a little more time in craft room. I bought a new sewing machine, and I have started an embroidery project!

Today I have a happy card to share that I plan on sending to a friend who is in the medical field. I created the card with products from Pretty Pink Posh. (All the products are linked below)

This card features the Spring Days Stamp Set and Spring Days Coordinating Dies. I stamped the flowers in black ink and colored with Copic Markers then used the two dies in the Spring Days Coordinating Dies to die cut the square of flowers and add the scalloped frame. I created the background with the Layered Cloud Stencil. This is a set of two stencils that layer over each other.

I die cut the scalloped border with the Eyelet Border Dies. I added the border of flowers from the stamp set at the bottom and the word "sunshine" with the Sunshine Script Dies. I die cut the word twice and layered one on top of the other. I dotted with i with Lemon Drop Jewels, as well as the center of the flowers. The"Sending You" sentiment is from the Rainy Days Additions Stamp Set.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find time to do something creative. I know it helps me keep sane!
