Papertrey Ink April Release Day 3

Hi and welcome to Day 3 of the Papertrey Ink April Release Countdown. I have three more projects to share with you today.  All the new products will be available on April 22nd at 12 pm EST. 

My first two cards feature the new Elegant Edges: Graduation Dies. This die set contains three dies that give you a variety of choices for the layout of your card. Here I just used two of the dies, one to die cut the hat and then one that cuts the bottom edge. 

I used the new Cascading Star Hot Foil Plate with gold foil on Tropical Teal Cardstock to create the background, and then added patterned paper on the bottom edge. 

The sentiment is from The Bigs Congrats to the Grad Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating dies. 

I finished off with a few PTI Black Gems.

On my second card I used all three dies in the Elegant Edges: Graduation Dies. This gave me the option to mix the colors at the top and bottom. I used the Cascading Stars Hot Foil Plate with gold foil to add the stars on True Black and Stamper's Select White Cardstock. 

The sentiment is from the Framed in Success Stamp Set and the stars are die cut with the Framed in Success Dies. The diploma is stamped with The Bigs Congrats to the Grad Stamp Set.

Next up is a look at the Reflections Number 6 Stamp Set and Dies. First I die cut the largest die in the Reflections Numbers 6 Die Set for Stamper's Select White Cardstock. I stencil with the Sunburst Stencil with Lemon Tart Ink and stamped the sentiment in Pure Black Ink.

I am loving the new Into the Blooms: Anemones. Here I created two of the smaller flowers and added them to the corners along with the leaves and berries. 

I used the Border Bling: Lattice Dies with Stamper's Select White Cardstock to created the card front, adding Sweet Blush Cardstock behind the die cut lattice.

Hi and welcome to Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink April Release Countdown. I have two more projects to share with you today.  All the new products will be available on April 22nd at 12 pm EST. 

My first card is created with the Framed in Success Stamp Set and Dies. There are number of different frames to choose from in the die set along with a number of graduation themed accents. I love the little books and the sentiments that fit on them and the glasses are a fun touch.

I added sentiments from the  Framed in Success Stamp Set  in the center of the frame. I lightly stenciled clouds in the background. 

I used the Cover Plate: Geo Flowers to create the background.

Next in a look at the This is Big Sentiments: Love Stamp Set, Into the Blooms: Anemones Dies, and the Love to Layer: To the Point Dies. 

Here is a closer look at the flowers and greenery. I die cut from Stamper's Select White Cardstock and then blended ink to add the color. I die cut the largest die in the Love to Layer: To the Point from white cardstock and lightly stencil the background and then arranged the flowers.

In the This is Big Sentiments: Love Stamp Set there are two different fonts to choose from for the Love sentiment and a number of smaller sentiments.

Papertrey Ink April Release Day 2

Papertrey Ink April Release Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the Papertrey Ink April Release Countdown. This month is full of products for Graduation, for Her, and pretty florals.  All the new products will be available on April 22nd at 12 pm EST. 

My first project features The Bigs Congrats to the Grad Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. I started by stamping the large graduation cap in the set in True Black Ink. Then I used a white gel pen to accent the dots around the brim of the hat. I stamped the tassel in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. 

The sentiments are from The Bigs Congrats to the Grad Stamp Set. Since I wanted a more feminine card I added a few flowers with the Into the Blooms: Wreath Dies. 

To create the background I used the new Cascading Stars Hot Foil Plate with gold foil on Sweet Blush Cardstock. I framed the card with the Border Bling: Skinny Stars Die.

My next card showcases the new Cornered: Graduation Die. I cut a piece of Stamper's Select White Cardstock to fit the card front. Next I die cut the Cornered: Graduation Die in each corner at the bottom of the card.  I used the die again to die cut the hat in different colors and inlayed the hats back into the die cuts. 

Then I used the Cascading Stars Hot Foil Plate with a Rainbow Foils to add the stars to the background. 

The sentiment is another one from the he Bigs Congrats to the Grad. I stamped in Versamark Ink on Hawaiian Shores Cardstock and embossed with gold embossing powder.

Papertrey Ink April Release Day 1

Celebrating the Graduates of 2023

Releasing this week at Taylored Expressions are products celebrating all the graduates of 2023! All the new products are available now in the TE Store. 

I have a niece who is receiving her PHD in June. This card is for her as adventure definitely awaits! I stamped the new Hat Off Grad Background Stamp in Versamark Ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock and then embossed with Cookie Monster Embossing Powder. I really like the color of this embossing powder and it leaves a nice subtle shine to background of the card. 

I cut one of frames in the Frame in Frame 3 Cutting Plate directly in the card front. Then I cut two more frames from Sugar Cube Cardstock. I glued the three frames together and inlayed the frame back into the card. 

I added the cap in the corner with the Little Bits - Grad Cap die. The "Class of" sentiment is included in the Class of 2023 Stamp Set. The bottom sentiment is from the previously released Mini Strips - Grad. I added 2023 to card with the precut Cut For You 2023. I finished off the card with a few  Bits & Pieces - Black Rhinestones.

Celebrating the Graduates of 2023

Papertrey Ink March Release Day 2

Hi and welcome to Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink's March Release Countdown. Today I have cards full of family blessings and card for the graduate. Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM ET on Tuesday, March 28th.   

My first card features the new Beauty in Motion Stamp Set and Dies. I love the graceful elegance of this stamp set. I stamped the flowers in Sweet Blush and Pale Peony Inks. 

I stamped the center of the flower and the frame in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. The stamp for the frame is part of the new Stationery Kit that I shared yesterday. I added a few gold drip dots to the card front. 

The sentiment if from the new Just Sentiments: Family Stamp Set. Continuing with the touches of gold I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder on True Black Cardstock.

The next card is created with the Cover Plate: Fanciful Flower Dies. I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit the front of the card and then die cut with the Cover Plate. Behind the cutouts I added a piece of Spring Moss Cardstock. Then I die cut the  Cover Plate: Fanciful Flower Dies three more times from Lemon Tart, Enchanted Evening, and Tropical Teal Cardstock and inlayed some of the pieces back in the card front. 

The larger sentiment is from the previously released Perfect Pairs: Commodities Stamp Set and Dies. The smaller sentiment is from the new Just Sentiments: Family. 

I finished off the card with a few clear jewels.

Next up is a look at the new Bright Future Stamp Set and Dies. The floral frame is colored with Copic Markers and then die cut. The framed sentiment fits perfectly inside the floral frame. The graduation hat is included in the set as are a number of Class of ..... sentiments. 

Behind the frame I added a panel of Bitty Big Collection: Lilac Grace. 

The card is framed with the largest die in the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frames.

Papertrey Ink March Release Day 2

New Graduation Release at Taylored Expressions!

It time for the Graduation Release at Taylored Expressions! I have a number of project to share with you today. All the new products are available now in the TE Store. 

Let's start with the new Create In Grads Layering Stencil - Hooray. This is a set of three stencils. I chose a color scheme of Blueberry, Spearmint, and Gold that were similar to the colors of my local high school. I used Happy Medium in Gold Glitter for the gold accents. 

Once the glitter was dry I cut the four card front panels that I created with the stencil. On this card I framed the front panel with the largest die in the  Stitched Frame Stacklets. I used one of the new sentiments in the High Five Stamp Set on each of my cards and die cut with the coordinating High Five Dies. 

The graduation caps are created with the new Little Bits - Grad Cap. I added Gold Drip Drops to the center of the caps. 

I added additional sentiments with the new Class of 22 Stamp Set and the previously released Mini Strips - Grad. 

You can also use many of the new products for occasions other than Graduation. The smaller sentiment is from the Simple Strips - Thanks Stamp Set and card perfect for many occasions. 

My second card showcases the new All You Need Stamp. It is such a beautiful sentiment. I decided to go with a feminine take. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE Copper Embossing powder. I don't know it don't used Copper more often! It is so pretty. 

I added the flowers and leaves with the Planting Happiness Stamp Set and Dies and colored with Copic Markers. I created background by simply stamping the leaves with Cupcake Ink on Cupcake Cardstock.

Now let's take a look at the Let's Do It Die. I started by using the new Bokeh Stars Laying Stencil with Blue Raspberry, Potato Chip, and Mint Julep Ink. Then I die cute the You Did It Sentiment directly into the card front. I die cut the sentiment two more times for Sugar Cube Cardstock and then glued the three layers together. Then in inlayed the letters back into the card front. 

The smaller sentiments are included in the Simple Strips: Thanks Stamp Set. I stamped in Versamark Ink on Blue Raspberry Cardstock and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder. I finished off with Tiny Diamonds from the Bold Collection.

It has been quite a year and I know we want to honor our teachers and grads!!! First I have two card I created with the new Full Circle - School Stamp Set and the Grad Cap Layering Stencil. The Full Circle - School can be used for either teachers or graduates. 

On my first card I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE Gold Embossing Powder. I cut a piece of Sugar Cube Cardstock to fit the card front and cut a circle directly into the card front with the Stitched Circle Stacklets. Then I added the stamp image behind the circle. 

On this card I used just one of the stencils in the new Grad Cap Layering Stencil.  I stenciled the stars with Versamark Ink and the embossed with TE Gold Embossing Powder. The sentiments are from the the new Mini Strips - Grad. 

The graduation hat is created with the previously released The Tassel and the Tassel Die. 

I created the second card in basically the manner, except here I die the the Full Circle-School Stamp with the Stitched Circle Stacklets and matted with the Petite Scallop Circle Stacklets. 

I also used all three layers of the stencil on this card. 

Next up is a look at the new Fill in the Blank - Teacher and the I Pick You Cling and Clear Combo. I die cut a piece of Salt Water Taffy Cardstock with the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets and matted with Sugar Cube Cardstock die cut with the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets. In the background I stamped the I Pick You Cling Stamp. 

I stamped two of the sentiments from the Fill in the Blank - Teacher Cling and Clear Combo in Cherry Pop Ink and added the two apples with the I Pick You Cling and Clear Combo and the I Pick You Die. The bottom sentiment is included in the  Fill in the Blank - Teacher Cling and Clear Combo. 

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the new Inside Scoop - Teacher Stamp Set.
