A Year In Bloom

As a token of gratitude for shopping with Taylored Expressions, every order you place comes with a free gift. For 2025, we’re excited to bring you A Year in Bloom - a series of monthly red rubber stamps inspired by birth flowers. With today's release we are excited to have some fun additions to go along with the rest of the A Year in Bloom collection.

My first card is created with the new A Year in Bloom - Vases and Places 2 Die Set, the Petite Scallop Gallery Builder, and the Large Lattice Layering Stencil and Large Lattice Stamp. I used the Year in Blooms stamps from January, February, March, April, and May along with the coordinating dies.

If you miss a month you can buy the stamp to keep your collection complete.

I colored the flowers with Olo Markers, die cut them, and arranged them in the four fun vases I die cut with the A Year in Bloom - Vases and Places 2 Die. The sentiments are from the previously release Mini Strips - Floral Stamp set.

The background is stamped with the new Large Lattice Stamp and stenciled with the Large Lattice Layering Stencil using Macaron Ink. Next I die cut scalloped shapes to center the floral arrangements on with the new Petite Scallop Gallery Build Die set. I cut them from Sugar Cube Cardstock lightly blended ink to add the pastel colors.

Next up is a closer look at the Large Lattice Stamp and the Large Lattice Layering Stencil. Here I stamped the  Large Lattice Stamp on Sugar Cube Cardstock in Blue Corn Ink. Then I stenciled with the Large Lattice Layering Stencil. There are three stencils in the set. I used Granny Smith, Banana Cream, and Bleu Cheese Inks. Then I splattered with Dr. Ph. Martin's bleed proof white opaque watercolor.

I die cut these vases with the previously released A Year in Bloom - Vases & Places Die Set. My flowers are colored with Copic Markers and I added Tiny Diamonds to accent the vases.

I used the new Diamond Stacklets Die set to cut three diamonds that fit the diamonds that are stamped with the Large Lattice Stamp and used foam tape to pop them up from the background.

This sentiment is from the Sundry Sentiments Die Set and die cut with the coordinating Sundry Sentiments Dies.

From new focal points to backgrounds, A Year in Bloom Beyond is all about helping you do more with the flowers you already have.

Pick Your Pairings Release at Taylored Expressions

Pick Your Pairings week is all about what TE customers want to coordinate with a current TE product. Taylored Expressions asked the Fans of TE Facebook Group what they would like to see! I have two projects to share with the customer inspired products. The new stamps and dies are available now in the TE Store

The  Sandy Shores Split 6x6 Background Stamp is such a great scene building stamp set and the new Gus & Gertie - Make a Splash Stamp Set and Die combo is so fun with the background stamp.

I stamped the water in Rock Candy and Confetti Cake Inks and the sand in Toffee Ink I splattered the background with white paint and then added brown watercolor splatters to the sand. I also added a few white drops from the Tiny Diamonds - Bold.

Gus and Gertie are colored with Olo Markers. I created the umbrellas with the Under My Umbrella die set.The card front is die cut with the Frayed Edge Stacklets.

The sentiment is included in the Gus & Gertie - Make a Splash Stamp Set and Die combo.

Next is a look at the Tall Tales Alpha Die Set and the coordinating Foil It - Mini Slim Drop Shadow Sentiments. First I stenciled the background with the Rotating Hearts Stencil with Cupcake and Guava Inks. Then I foiled the panel with TE Gold Stars & Sparkle Fun Foil.

I die cut each letter from a different color cardstock that are linked below. The foiled shadows make the letters easy to line up.

I used the Mini Slim Postage Stamp Stacklets to mat the foiled panel.

When you spend $200+ site wide, you’ll receive a free $25 coupon card* to use on a future order of $25 or more!

New Graduation Release at Taylored Expressions!

It time for the Graduation Release at Taylored Expressions! I have a number of project to share with you today. All the new products are available now in the TE Store

Let's start with the new Create In Grads Layering Stencil - Hooray. This is a set of three stencils. I chose a color scheme of Blueberry, Spearmint, and Gold that were similar to the colors of my local high school. I used Happy Medium in Gold Glitter for the gold accents.

Once the glitter was dry I cut the four card front panels that I created with the stencil. On this card I framed the front panel with the largest die in the  Stitched Frame Stacklets. I used one of the new sentiments in the High Five Stamp Set on each of my cards and die cut with the coordinating High Five Dies.

The graduation caps are created with the new Little Bits - Grad Cap. I added Gold Drip Drops to the center of the caps.

I added additional sentiments with the new Class of 22 Stamp Set and the previously released Mini Strips - Grad.

You can also use many of the new products for occasions other than Graduation. The smaller sentiment is from the Simple Strips - Thanks Stamp Set and card perfect for many occasions.

My second card showcases the new All You Need Stamp. It is such a beautiful sentiment. I decided to go with a feminine take. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE Copper Embossing powder. I don't know it don't used Copper more often! It is so pretty.

I added the flowers and leaves with the Planting Happiness Stamp Set and Dies and colored with Copic Markers. I created background by simply stamping the leaves with Cupcake Ink on Cupcake Cardstock.

Now let's take a look at the Let's Do It Die. I started by using the new Bokeh Stars Laying Stencil with Blue Raspberry, Potato Chip, and Mint Julep Ink. Then I die cute the You Did It Sentiment directly into the card front. I die cut the sentiment two more times for Sugar Cube Cardstock and then glued the three layers together. Then in inlayed the letters back into the card front.

The smaller sentiments are included in the Simple Strips: Thanks Stamp Set. I stamped in Versamark Ink on Blue Raspberry Cardstock and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder. I finished off with Tiny Diamonds from the Bold Collection.

Right now through Sunday, April 24th, when you make any purchase of $75 or more you will receive the Congrats Script die FREE! It’s the perfect sentiment for any card that you create to celebrate a special event or achievement. Offer valid while supplies last.

And lastly, this is a card I made with the new Squeese the Day Stencil and Clear Stamp Set, free with any purchase of $100 or more in April 2022.
