Love You

Hi Everyone! I am popping in today with a card I created with some new products from Pretty Pink Posh. I am loving the new Geraniums Stamp Set. The flowers are so pretty and love the great details on the leaves.

The geraniums and leaves are watercolored. I stamped on watercolor paper and embossed with white embossing powder. After the flowers were dry I die cut with the Geraniums Coordinating Dies. The cute dragonfly is stamped with the Darling Dragonflies Stamp Set and die cut with the Darling Dragonflies Coordinating Dies. I added a little glitter with a glitter pen to the wings of the dragonfly for a some sparkle.

The sentiment is die cut with the new Love You Script Die. I cut the sentiment from red cardstock and inked the lower edges with Fired Brick Distress Ink. Before I put the card together I cut a piece of white cardstock for the card front. On the top half I brushed on a pale yellow ink and spattered black paint. On the lower half I added a piece of striped paper. I finished of the the card with a few Sparkling Clear Jewels

Build A Terrarium

Hi All! I am popping in again with another card I created with dies I was lucky enough to receive from Spellbinders. For my project today I am using the Build a Terrarium Etched Dies. The die set creates a great little scene you could use for so many occasions.

I die cut the cactus, soil, and bottom of the Terrarium from a variety of cardstock colors and used Distress Inks and a Copic Marker to add the details. The dome is cut from a gold foil for the outer edge and clear acetate for the dome cover.

I cut a circle directly into the card front and then matted the circle. Behind the circle I added white cardstock, sponged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, and Kraft cardstock to complete the scene. I finished off with a few Sparkling Clear Jewels

You can find the Build a Terrarium Etched Dies HERE. Thanks for stopping by!

Feathers In The Wind with Spellbinders

Hi Everyone! I was lucky enough to be sent a couple of Spellbinders Dies to play with recently. I got chance to create a few cards this weekend and today I am going to share a project I created with the Shapeabilities Feathers In the Wind Etched Dies.

The details on the feathers are so pretty. Each feather come in two dies, a detailed feather with a solid cut feather to attached behind it. I cut my feathers from watercolor paper and used distress inks to sponge on the color. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Shabby Shutters, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, and Chipped Sapphire.

Once I was happy with the colors I misted the feathers with water to let the colors blend together and then splattered gold paint. Once the paint was dry I attached the two layer together. At the top I tied a bow with gold twine and attached the feathers to the card front. I finished off with Metallic Gold Jewels and a gold embossed sentiment.

You can find the Shapeabilities Feathers In The Wind Etched Dies HERE. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

The fence is die cut with the Picket Fence Die. All the stamped images are included in the Darling Dragonflies Stamp Set. I used the new Bubbly Stencil, Guava Ink, and a Blending Tool to stencil the background. I mentioned yesterday how much I love this stencil. I can't wait to create an underwater scene. The balloons are created with the Bold Balloons Die and the Balloon Strings Die.

I die cut the word sending with the new Sending Script Die from Guava cardstock, my new favorite color! I used the new Sending Script Backing Die cut from Rock Candy Felt to back the sending sentiment. The Sending Script Backing Die is a mixed media die which allows you to get a clean cut from a variety of products. It's Day 2 of the June Release Sneak Peeks at Taylored Expressions! This release is full of summer fun so start your wish list now! This new release will be available starting at 9am CDT on Thursday, June 7th.

I have another two projects to share with you today. I hope they make you smile!

My first card features the new Turnip the Beet Stamp Set and coordinating Turnip the Beet Dies along with the new Bubbly Stencil. I love the stencil! It can be used as a fun party background and it perfect for under the sea type scenes. Here I used the stencil with white embossing paste on Plum Punch Cardstock.

The beets are watercolored with the new Peapod and Plum Punch Liquid Watercolors. I love the way the watercolors match the TE Cardstock. I added a few music notes to go with the theme with the Little Bits - Love Notes. The sentiment is included in the stamp set and I created the frame with the Inside Scallop Rectangle Stacklets and the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets.

I created my second card with the new Block Party Popsicle and Little Bits - Frozen Treats. The Frozen Treat Die is exactly the same size as the popsicles die cut with the Block Party Die, making to easy to make all the popsicles different colors. The top of the popsicles are cut with one of the dies in the Little Bits - Frozen Treats. I cut the top from Sugar Cube Cardstock and brush on the new Shimmer Liquid Watercolor for a little sparkle.

The sentiment is from the new Chill Out Stamp Set, embossed with TE White Embossing Powder and die cut with the Double Ended Flag Stacklets. And the fun patterned paper is part of the Hello Sunshine Paper Pack.
