Thanks for stopping by! It's Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink January Release. Today my projects are about birthdays. I can never have enough birthday cards in my stash. Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM ET on Thursday, January 26th.
This card features a number of new products, the Birthday Background Background Stamp, Ironic Birthday Stamp Set, Lover to Layer: Decorative Brackets, and the Birthday Celebration Dies.
I started by stamping the Birthday Background Stamp in Versamark Ink on Stamper's Select White Cardstock, and then embossed with White Embossing Powder. Then I blended Sweet Blush, New Leaf, Aqua Mist, and Lemon Tart. I used the Love to Layer: Decorative Brackets Dies to add the Aqua Mist and Vellum bracket panels.
I added the cake, present, and hat with the new Iconic Birthday Stamp Set and the balloons, sentiment and scallop border with the Birthday Celebration Bling.

I used the same products to create the second card. You can see the three sizes of bracket dies and the decorative strip is also included in the Love to Layer: Decorative Bracket Die Set.
The sentiment is part of the new Birthday Tag Kit.
My next project features the Birthday Tag Kit. The kit includes the stamp set and dies and a number of embellishments.
There are a number of dies that you can use to make cards or tags. I used the square tag die on the card but it would also make a great birthday tag.
The background is foiled with the Stargazing Hot Foil Plate, using Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System.
