A Pretty Birthday Cake

I am popping in at the last minute to share my take on the February SFYTT Sketch Challenge over at the Reverse Confetti Blog. The was my first chance to ink up the Candles ‘n Confetti Stamp Set. I think this cake is so pretty!


The background paper is from the True Love 6 x 6 Pad. Next I added a panel of vellum cut with the Lacy Scallop Frame Confetti Cuts. I stamped the cake and the stand on white cardstock with a white pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder.


I lightly sponged ink on the cake and the stand. My cake is die cut with the Candles n' Confetti Cuts. The "happy" sentiment is from the With Love Stamp Set and "birthday" is die cut with the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Icicle

Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog!  It is time for the first  Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge of the New Year! We are starting out with the Icicle Challenge. 


I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge.


Here's my take on the challenge. I was inspired by the pretty shades of aqua and white and a little bit of sparkle. 

I created the snowflake with the Reverse Confetti Layered Snowflake Confetti Cuts. I added a little sparkle with glittered card stock and rhine stones. I mount the snowflake on a decorative circle cut with the Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Confetti Cuts. 


The patterned paper is from the Reverse Confetti Very Merry 6x6 Pad. The sentiment is from the Pretty Pink Posh Winter Wonderland Stamp Set.

Hug In A Mug

Hi and thanks for stopping by! You can never have too many thank you cards in your stash and needed one for a sweet friend who is helping me with the wedding favors for my daughter's wedding. She is a big Starbucks fan so I wanted a pocket in my card to hold the gift card. 

I used the Reverse Confetti April SFYTT Challenge for inspiration and the Reverse Confetti Caffeinated Cups Stamp Set and Caffeinated Cups Confetti Cuts to create the card. 


These pretty patterned paper are from the Cest La Vie 6 x 6 Paper Pad from Pink Paislee. I used Scor-Pal Tape to attached the pocket to the card front, leaving the top open. The sentiments are stamped in pigment ink and embossing with white embossing powder. 


The cup is created with the stamps in the Caffeinated Cups Stamp Set. I used a Copic marker to add the color of coffee. I decided to add the rose detail to match the roses in the patterned paper and the Reverse Confetti Love Blooms Stamp Set was a perfect fit! The die cuts are done with the coordinating Love Blooms Confetti Cuts.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Frozen

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It's the first day of the new year  and time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge! Why not start the year off with playing along with us!  

 The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!


Here is my take on the Frozen Challenge. I love the pretty color combo! I made this little gift for a friend who's birthday is around the corner. 


I created this beautiful snowflake with the Layered Snowflake Confetti Cuts for Reverse Confetti. I used a combination of card stock, glittered card stock and felt.


The background of the tag is embossed with the Taylored Expressions Winter Flurry Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Winter Friends Stamp Set from Pretty Pink Posh, stamped in a white pigment ink and embossing with white embossing powder.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Beginnings


Hi and thanks for stopping by today. I am so excited to be the Guest Designer again for the new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge. The Curtain Call inspiration photo just says Spring!


It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

Beginnings


Here my take on the challenge.


I made this sweet, little gift bag from a unfinished wood box from the local craft store. 


I sanded the wood a bit, and then painted the box with Gesso. After the coat of Gesso had dried I painted the box with Tim Holtz Distress Paint in Antique Line. 


Then I added pattern to the box with the Petal Circle Stencil and Salty Sea Distress Ink. The tag is created with Reverse Confetti's Folded Tag Sentiments Stamp set and the Folded Tag Confetti Cuts. The flowers are from Prima.

February SFYTT - If Friends Were Flowers

I got a chance to "play" this weekend with my Reverse Confetti Stamp Set that hadn't been inked up yet and a new paper pad. For layout inspiration I used this month Sketch For You to Try. 


I used the Love Blooms Stamp Set and the coordinating Love Blooms Confetti Cuts. The scalloped circle is cut with a die in the Circles ‘n Scallops Confetti Cuts.


The sentiment is from the stamp set. The flowers are colored with Copics.


I added a little glitter to the flowers and rhinestones to the centers.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Winter Wonder

Hi! And thanks for stopping by today! It is only January 9th and I am actually doing one of crafty goals for the new year, INK up some my never been inked stamped purchases! I am playing along with the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge. 

 
I just love the colors in the inspiration photo!


The stamps and dies sets I used on this card are from Reverse Confetti. I layered a piece of vellum over a cream card stock. The garlands are cut from gold glittered card stock. 


I used the Delicata Gold Ink pad, which is just such a pretty ink, even prettier in person. I scattered a few clear sequins for the finishing touch.
