A Paper Melody: New Mini Slim Product Additions

Hi! Today Taylored Expressions is releasing a new collection of products to add to our collection of essentials for creating Mini Slim cards. The Mini Slim card size is so fun to work with and I am excited to have new products designed specifically for this size. All the new products are available now in the TE Store.

My first cards showcases the new Circle Window Frames, along with the new Little Critters Dies that coordinate with the previously released Little Critters Stamp Set. And how cute is the new Mini Slim Scalloped Envelope Liner!

Let's start with the card front. I cut a piece of Sugar Cube Cardstock with the previously released Mini Slim Circle Window Cutting Plate. I lightly blending Potato Chip Ink over the white Cardstock and then stenciled with the new Mini Slim Stencil, Wonky Dots in Cookie Monster, Lemon Meringue, Lollipop, and Lime Zest Ink. Then I die cut the new Circle Window Frames and inlayed them into the circles. The card is framed with the new Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate.

I choose three of the critters from the Little Critters Stamp Set, stamped in Oreo Ink, colored with Copic Markers, and die cut with the new Little Critters Dies. I also added a few Bits & Pieces - Iridescent Rhinestones to the circles.

My second project is a tri-fold card featuring the new Toucan Do It Stamp and Stencil Combo and the Toucan Do It Die. The previously released Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies - Square makes it easy to create square cut-out windows on your Mini Slim Trifold Cards. I cut the square windows on the Sugar Cube card base and then cut a piece of Salt Water Taffy Cardstock with the largest die in Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets. I cut a window in the Taffy Cardstock and then stenciled with the new Mini Slim Stencil - Tropical Leaves.

I stenciled the leaves in Blue Raspberry, Cilantro, and Blueberry Ink. The sentiment is part of the Toucan Do It Stamp Set and I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder.

Here is what the card looks like when you open the first flap. I stenciled more leaves, using the Tropical Leaves Stencil and the Masking Stencil - Mini Slim Rectangle.

Here the card is fully open. I used the Toucan Can Do It Stencil to add most of the color to the toucan and added color to the beak and branches with Copic Markers.
