I am up on the Papertrey Ink Blog today with a card I created for the Great Cover-Up Challenge. You can stop by the PTI Blog for all the challenge details and how you can play along.
Today’s card is all about adding layers to your card without too much bulk.
The card front is die cut with the Border Bling: Tin Stitch Die from Stamper’s Select White Cardstock. Then I lightly blended Lemon Tart Ink over the die cut.
Next I die cut both the dies in the Love to Layer: Torn Edges Die and layered the smaller die cut over the larger one. Next is a circle cut from vellum and lightly colored with Lemon Tart Ink.
I stamped and die cut the flowers with the Abundant Blooms Stamp Set and Dies. I used foam tape to attach the vase and the flowers. On top of the vase add the two sentiments and finished off the card with a few clear dots. The vase is stamped and die cut with the new Vase Collection 2 Mini Stamp Set and Die. I stamped the background with Spring Rain Ink and the details with Dark Indigo Ink.
I hope you get a chance to play along! Stop by the Papertrey Ink Blog for all the details.
