How cute is this! First I used the new Home Sweet Home Die, cutting the base out twice to form the house. Then I ran the home pieces through my die cutting machine again this time embossing with the Bead Board Embossing Folder. I used the same process for the roof, embossing with the Brick Embossing Folder.
I added all the details before I assembled the house, using the Home Sweet Home Accessories to add curtains, flowers, and greenery. Behind the windows I added vellum and Potato Chip Cardstock.
Next up is this cute, little matchbox! There are so many possibilities. First I used the Matchy Matchy Die Cuts to create the match box, using Mint Julip and Cookie Monster Cardstock. Before I assembled the box I used the Matchy Matchy Background Stamp to add the pattern to the top and inside of the box.
Next I stamped and colored the cake with Copic Markers and die cut the cake with the Matchy Matchy Dies. I attached the cake and matting to the top of the box and then assemble the box. Here I added a gift of earrings for one of my friends but there are lots of ideas for what you can put inside the matchbox!
