First up is a fun take on a shaker card. I started by cutting red card stock for the front of the card and then die cutting the windows with the new Stitched Pieces Die. Next I stamped snowflakes from both the Winter Wonderland Stamp Set and the Christmas Friends Stamp Set in white pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder.
Behind the windows is a clear acetate and foam tape to form the shaker. The sentiment and the branches in the top window are from the Holiday Greetings Stamp Set, a FREE gift with orders over $100. Behind the windows I added sequins from the new Snowflake Sequins Mix and the 4mm Classic Christmas Sequins Mix.
The stamped images are from the Christmas Friends Stamp Set, colored with Copics, and die cut with the Christmas Friends Coordinating Dies.
My second card is created with additional stamps included in the Christmas Friends Stamp Set and holds a gift card!
I created the background by sponging on distress ink, misting with water, and adding spatters of white paint. The hills of snow are cut with the Scallop Borders Dies. The sentiment is included in the Christmas Friends Stamp Set.
The stamped images are colored with Copic Marker and then die cut. I attached a few snowflakes from the Snowflake Sequins Mix and 4mm Clear Droplets.
You are going to love the new Peekaboo Windows Dies! Here I used one of the dies to create a gift card holder. When I adhered the card front to the card base I used double sides tape, leave a pocket open to hold the gift card.
