Ink to Paper December Sneak Peeks Day 2

I am back for Day 2 of the Ink to Paper December Release Sneak Peeks. Today I have some ideas to share for wedding cards and wedding favor boxes. Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM EDT on December 15th!

My first card features  the new Just Married Stamp Set and dies. On my wedding card I used both the chairs but I think just the Mrs. Chair would make a cute card for a bridal shower. I stamped the chairs in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. The flowers are colored with Copic Markers and then die cut with the coordinating dies. I also added flowers to the Mr. and Mrs. signs.

At the bottom I added a sentiment from the stamp set. The background is blended with Sweet Blush and Spring Moss Ink. The card front is die cut with the Border Bing: Tin Stitch Die from Sweet Blush Cardstock.

Next  created a favor box with the Wreath Favor Box Dies and the the Wreath Favor Box Sentiments Stamp Set and Dies. You cut the Wreath Favor Box Dies twice, fold on the score lines, and use double stick tape to put the box together. I used paper from the Bitty Big: Sweet Blush Color Collection

I used the Wreath Favor Box Sentiments Stamp Set to stamp the wreath, flowers, leaves, and sentiments. After I die cut all the elements I attached the wreath to the card front and stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the box.

The Wreath Favor Box Sentiments Stamp Set and Dies are also perfect for card making. The wreath is pretty on its own. I added another sentiment from the stamp set in the middle of the wreath.

I used the Ornate Cover Plate to add texture to the card front. I like the look of the white on white. In the middle of wreath I added the smaller frame in the new XO Heart Frames Dies. I added twine to the center of the card and tied a double bow at the top.

Thanks for taking a look! I will be back tomorrow for Day 3 of sneak peeks. Stop by the Papertrey Blog for more more inspiration with the new products.

Let's Celebrate Halloween at Taylored Expressions!

Today at Taylored Expressions we are releasing our new Halloween Products! The release has 15 new products including stamps, dies, a new Mini Slim stencil, glow in the dark embossing powder, and a fun project kit to create Halloween treat containers! Everything is available now in the TE webstore.

I have three projects to share with you so let's get started!

First is a look at Big Grumpy - Halloween! This stamp set coordinates with the Big Grumpy Stamp and Die Combo. (Product links are below each project) I stamped the images in Oreo Ink, colored with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies.

To create the spooky background I cut a piece of Sugar Cube Cardstock for the card front. At the bottom I blended Olive Ink. Then I used the Set the Scene - Clouds Stencil Strips with Jelly Donut and Eggplant Ink and my TE Blender Brushes. The last step was to splattered watered down white craft paint on the background. At the bottom I added a sentiment from the Mini Strips - Halloween.

See the cut pumpkin candy holder in the corner! We have a kit to create these that includes the pumpkin, felt leaves, and the stem!

Next up is a Mini Slim Card created with the Spooktacular Stamp Set, Spooktacular Dies, and the new Mini Slim Stencil - Spiderweb. I cut the card front with the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets and used Jelly Donut and Eggplant Ink to stencil the spiderweb. The sentiment is from the Handlettered Halloween Stamp Set, stamped in Versamark Ink, embossed with TE White Embossing Powder, and die cut with the new Handlettered Halloween Dies

The windows are die cut with the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies - Square. I added a few more spiderwebs to the inside of the card with Sugar Cube Ink. The sentiment is included in the Spooktacular Stamp Set.

Here is the card fully opened. I used the square template to mask off the square on the inside and then blended Olive, Poppy Seed, and Oreo Ink.

My last project is created with the new Farmhouse Wreath and Farmhouse Sentiments. The stamp set includes individual stamps that fit the wreath for additional holidays. There are bats, snowflakes, hearts, flowers, and stars. The background is stamped with the new Linen Background Stamp. I stamped with Toffee Ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock and blended a little Toffee Ink on the edges of the card front.

I stamped the wreath on Toffee Cardstock in Chocolate Truffle Ink and added green to the leaves with my Copic Markers. The berries are stamped in Cherry Pop Ink. The circle is die cut with the Stitched Circle Stacklets and matted with the Petite Scallop Circle Stacklets.

"Merry" is a sentiment from the new Farmhouse Sentiments Stamp Set. The other sentiments are from the Simple Strips - Christmas Stamp Set and die cut with the Simple Strips Die. I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing powder.

I love creating handmade for the holidays! I hope I have inspired you to get started on Halloween and Pumpkin Season! Stop by the TE Blog for all the details and more inspiration!

Happy Halloween! Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day 3

It is Day 3 of sneak peeks of the Taylored Expression August Release. Today my projects are all about Halloween, cute zombies and a new gatefold card. All the new products will be available starting at 9am CDT tomorrow, August 8th.

My first card features the new Zombies Stamp Set and Zombies Dies. I colored the images with Copic Markers. The tombstone is die cut with the previously released Tombstone Trio.

To create the background I stamped the Bare Tree Background Stamp on Sugar Cube Cardstock with Versamark Ink and embossed with the TE Black Embossing Powder. Then I used the TE Blender Brushes to create the evening sky.

The sentiment is stamped with the new Mini Strips - Halloween and die cut with the new Mini Strips Die

Next up is the new Gatefold Reveal 2 Die that creates a really fun card and added a favor box to create the set.

Here is how the card looks completely put together. I used the Better Half Cutting Plates to die cut the striped panels and added the spider web border with the new Flip the Web Stamp Set and Die. I created the band out of vellum and added one of the sentiments from the new Handlettered Halloween

The webs are stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder.

And how cute is the card when you open it! The spiders and sentiment are from the new Sweet and Spooky Stamp Set. And the gatefold is created with the new Gatefold Reveal 2 Die

This cute favor box is so easy to create. I used the All Tucked In Die to create the box and cut the window with the new All Tucked In Window Dies. I added acetate behind the window. Before I put the box together I stamped the sentiment and Halloween images with the new All Tucked In - Hallowen Stamp Set.

Simply Smitten - Taylored Expressions August Release Sneak Peeks Day 2

Its Day 2 Taylored Expressions August Release and today I have projects to share with Fall and Thanksgiving in mind. I also have a couple of ideas for place cards and hostess gifts. All the new products will be available starting at 9am CDT Thursday, August 8th.

First up is a project I created with the new Simply Smitten Stamp Set and the All Tucked In - Harvest  Stamp Set

The background for this card is stamped with the new Floral Fields Background Stamp. On this card I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder. On my second card below I used in the stamp again but gave it a whole different look with Copic Markers.

My stamped images are colored with Copic Markers and die cut with the Simply Smitten Dies. The center circle is die with the Petite Scallop Circle Stacklets and the Stitched Circle Stacked. I used the TE Blender Brushes to add Peapod and Salt Water Taffy to the background of the circle.

The sentiment is included in the new Mini Strips - Harvest Stamp Set and die cut with the Mini Strips Die. This is the first of the Mini Strips Sentiment Sets that can be die cut with the Mini Strips Die.

Now I want to give you a closed look at the place card favors I plan to use for Thanksgiving. The box is created with the previously release All Tucked In Die. I added the name to the front of box with the new Handlettered Alphabet Clear Stamp Set

Here is look at the back of the box. The new All Tucked In Windows Die coordinates wit the All Tucked In Die. I added acetate behind the window before I assembled the box. The sentiment and fall foliage is stamped with the new All Tucked In - Harvest Stamp Set.

For my next project I created a hostess gift set with the Flip The Script - Pumpkin Stamp and Die Combo.

I used the Floral Fields Background Stamp again but here I stamped in Chocolate Truffle Ink and colored with Copic Markers.

I stamped the pumpkin on Pumpkin Cardstock in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE Gold Embossing Powder and the die cut with the die included in the set. The sentiment is from the Mini Strips - Harvest Stamp Set.

To created the tag I used the second stamp in the The Script - Pumpkin Stamp and Die Combo and added another sentiment from the Mini Strips - Harvest Stamp Set.
