Soak Up the Sun

Happy Friday! I am popping in today with another card I created with the Everything's Beachy Stamp Set by Julie Ebersole Stamp Set and coordinating Everything's Beachy Dies from Ellen Hutson. I love building a scene and this stamp set is perfect for all the summer vibes! 

To build the scene I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit the card front. At the bottom I cut a piece of Kraft Cardstock for the sand and using Kraft Ink I ink blending a few piles of sand. Next I created the water with the Better at the Beach Stamp Set and glued the sand to the edge of the water. I cut a circle from masking paper to create the sun and the stenciled clouds at the top. 

I stamped and colored the images from the Everything's Beachy Stamp Set, and the then die cut. I. attached the images to the card front with foam tape and finished off with a jewel on the umbrella.

Beach Please

A walk in the sand or a day at the beach if one of my favorite things to do! Today I have a card I created with the Everything's Beachy Stamp Set by Julie Ebersole Stamp Set and coordinating Everything's Beachy Dies from Ellen Hutson. I love the fun, modern feel of the stamp set! 

I stamped in black ink, colored with Copic Markers, and then die cut the images. I blended Distress Inks to creat the look of sand and water behind the image. I used a white gel pen to accent the water and splattered a little gold paint. 

For the card front I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit the card front and used a cloud stencil to add the clouds to the background. Then I cut a circle directly into the card front and matted the circle with gold foil. I added a sentiment from the the stamp set at the bottom of the card, stamping in Versamark Ink and embossing with Gold Embossing Powder.

Ellen Hutson and Pretty Pink Posh Instagram Hop

Here is my card with The Pretty Pink Posh’s Summer Circles. There are four circles in the set and I used two of them. I colored the images with Copic Markers and then die cut them with the previously released Valentine Circles Coordinating Dies. 

To create the sand I simply tore a piece of Kraft Cardstock and blended Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink on the edges. The waves are die cut with the Stitched Waves Dies. I cut the waves from white Cardstock and blending Peacock Feathers and Broken China Distress Inks. The sentiment is from the Summer Fun Stamp Set.
