Deconstructed Sketch No. 160 - Birthday Wishes

Hi and thanks for stopping by today! Did you know that My Favorite Things is sponsoring this week's Deconstructed Sketch No. 160! It is such a fun sketch and you can play along for the chance to win a $25 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique!

Be sure to stop by Jen's Blog for more inspiration. Here's my take on the sketch.

To cut the Nightshift Blue and Sno Cone Card Stock Panels I used the stitched square die in Blueprints 14. On the Nightshift Blue panel I added the stripes with the Diagonal Stripes Background Stamp and Sweet Tooth Ink. On the Sno Cone panel I stamped a subtle pattern with the Linen Background Stamp.

The sentiment is from the Birthday Chalkboard Greetings Stamp Set, stamped in Wild Cherry Ink. The flowers are created with the Layered Rose Die-namics and the leaves with the Royal Leaves Die-namics. The card is finished off with enamel dots and a MFT Button in Wild Cherry.

The sentiment on the inside is also from the Birthday Chalkboard Greetings Stamp Set.

Here are the MFT Products I used to create my card:

Hello!

Hi Everyone and thanks for stopping by today. I  have a card to share that I made with Taylored Expressions new stamp set, Let's Chat, and the Let's Chat Phone Dies.

For inspiration I am using Jen's Deconstructed Sketch Challenge No. 69. My papers are from My Mind's Eye, Gnome Sweet Gnome.

I colored the phone with Copics and cut it out with one of the dies in the Let's Chat Phones Die Set. The sentiment is from the stamp set and I just LOVE it.  I added a doily cut with the Small Layering Die behind the phone.

Machine stitiching, ribbon, and a button finish off my card.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the Let's Chat Stamp Set.

Thanks for stopping by!

Babies Are Berry Sweet

Hi All and happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend and got a little creative time in! I got a chance to play with one of the new stamps sets from Taylored Expressions, Onesie Twosie.

For inspiration I used Jen's Deconstructed Sketch No. 47. I used paper from Crate Paper Pretty Party. The strawberry paper just went so perfect with the sentiment! I added machine stitching, lace, a sentiment from the set, twine, and a little strawberry charm I had in my stash for ages!

I used two of Taylor's dies to create my center image, the Onesie Die,  and the Small Layering Die. I colored the small strawberry with Copics and punched it out.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the set and added another onesie.

Thanks for stopping by! I am back to work tomorrow. Have a good week.

Wonderful Wishes

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by today!! I have a wintery card to share with you that is created around one of Taylored Expression great wreath designs. I just love the wreath series! Taylor has wreaths that work throughout the year and they can all be cut out with the same Seasonal Wreath Die!

This wreath is the Snowflake Wreath and I added a bow cut with the Basic Bow Die. The sentiment is included in the stamp stet. My papers are from Echo Park Winter Park. I also added lace and Doodle Bug Twine in Bubble Blue.

For inspiration I used Jen's The Deconstructed Sketch No. 30.

I added rhinestones to the center of the snowflakes and the bow and sponged ink on the edges of the wreath.

Have a great day!
