A Paper Melody: Happy Birthday Taylor!

We are celebrating Taylor's Birthday this week at Taylored Expressions with some fun birthday products! I have two project to share with you, a birthday themed addition to the Postmarked Collection and some cute birthday hats. All the products are available now in the TE Store.

Let's start with a look at the new Postmarked - Birthday. I have been trying to experiment with new ink combos. Here I used Cupcake, Bubblegum, Spearmint, and Gumdrop Inks. I used a Foil It - Postmarked Birthday Sheet, foiled with Champagne Foil, stenciled and then die cut with the Postmarked Cutting Plate Die.

The mail box is created with the You're Got Mail Die Set. I used a gold brad to attach the gold foil flag so it can be moved up and down. For the card front I cut a piece of Sugar Cube Cardstock with the Postage Stamp Stacklets. I blended the background with Banana Cream Ink, lightly stenciled clouds with Cupcake Ink, and added the grass with the Set the Scene - Grass Stencil Strips.

The sentiment is from the new Bold Birthday Greetings Stamp Set.

Next let's celebrate the Birthday Girl! Of course there is Birthday Boy Die being released too!

To create the hat I used the new Hooray Hat Die with Banana Cream, Mint Julep, Pink Champagne, Papaya, and Tiki Mule Cardstocks and Inks. I also used TE Felt to die cut the top for the hat.

I used the Birthday Girl Die with Papaya Cardstock and die cut the backing from Pink Champagne Cardstock. The smaller sentiment is from the Big Birthday Hugs Stamp Set.

The background is die cut with the Squiggle Stacklets and embossed with the Tiny Twinkles Embossing Folder. I blended the background with Banana Cream, Pink Charmpagne, and Papaya Inks. I finished off with some colorful enamel dot.
