I am starting off the release sneak peek with the new set in the Cutting Edge Series, Cutting Edge - Ghosts Stamp & Die Combo. We are also adding the adding a new die to the the Caps Lock Series, Caps Lock - Boo. And there are two new colors of cardstock and matching ink, Eggplant and Sweet Potato Pie, perfect for Halloween projects!
These ghosts make me smile! To create the background I stamped the ghosts in Oreo Ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock and then I masked them off. Using the Set the Scene-Clouds Stencil and a Blending Tool I added the clouds down about three fourths of the page with a combination Jelly Donut and Eggplant Ink. Then at the bottom of the page I added a strip of polka dot patterned paper from the new Playful Patterns - Black and White.
I cut the Caps Lock - Boo Die directly into the card front and then again from Chipboard. I glued to two layers together and inlayed the letters back into the die cut. The sentiment is from the Cutting Edge - Ghosts Stamp & Die Combo and die cut with the Double Ended Stacklets. I aded a few stars for the Build a Scene Halloween Sequins.
The matching envelope is stamped with the new Spooky Mail Stamp Set.
My next project is this great treat bag and you can get all the items you need to create this gift from Taylored Expressions!
How cute is the Potion Carrier! And it is really sturdy!
I created the labels with the new Pick Your Poison Stamp Set. I stamped in Oreo Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I put a piece of a 6 x 6 adhesive sheet behind the stamped images and die cut with Stitched Oval Stacklets. I peeled off the backing of the adhesive sheet and attached to labels to the "Poison Bottles". I embellished the labels with an Oreo Enamel Shape.
I put M & M's in my bottles!
I used the Caps Lock - Boo Die to added the "Boo" sentiment. I created the tags with Tag Stacklets 2 and the Stitched Framed Stacklets 2. I can't wait to give this to a special little boy on Halloween!
