Giving Thanks

Hi! It's the last day of August I am officially moving on to creating Holiday projects. I do like to get started early so I have projects ready to go before things get too hectic!! I 'm starting off with a Fall themed shaker card created with products from Pretty Pink Posh.

I used the Window Frames Dies to create the shaker portion of the card. I think it makes an interesting shape for a shaker. I used the larger edge of the die to cut the outside window directly into the card front. Behind the window I added acetate and foam tape. Behind the foam tape I added the smaller die cut and sentiment from the Giving Thanks Stamp Set. The sentiment is stamped on watercolor papers, and embossed with gold embossing powder.

Before I adhered the shaker back to the card I dropped in sequins from the 4mm Autumn Harvest Sequins Mix and attached two leaves inside the window. The pumpkins are leaves are included in the Giving Thanks Stamp Set and are colored with Copic Markers.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! Hope I have inspired you start your holiday projects!!

A Pretty Thank You

Hi Everyone! I am popping in today with a thank you card I created with products from Pretty Pink Posh. I needed a thank you card this weekend and I played with a little different color combo as things cool down and we head into fall.

I die cut the Scallop Square Tags Dies to create the tag for the center of the card. Then I cut a piece of cream cardstock to fit just inside the square. Next I stamped a sentiment from the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set in Delicate Golden Glitz Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.

Next I created the flowers with the Build A Bloom Stamp Set and Build A Bloom Coordinating Dies and added a few 4MM Metallic Gold Sequins. Down the center of the card I added a strip of patterned paper and lace threaded with twine.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday! Today I have another fun shaker card to share that I created with products from Pretty Pink Posh. I just love the Smile Shaker Die! It does make me smile and there are so many different ways use this die.

To create the shaker portion of the card I die cut the larger circle in the Scallop Circles Dies from a checked patterned paper and again from foam. Behind the patterned paper I attached a circle of acetate and then the foam. Next I dropped in sequins from the Spring Meadow Sequins Mix and the Red Heart Confetti. I cover the back of the circle with a piece of watercolor paper that I had blended with distress inks. Then I glued the Smile die cut on the acetate.

I add a few stamped images Woodland Critters Stamp Set, die cut with the Woodland Critters Coordinating Dies. The stamped images are colored with Copic Marker. I like this mix of colors. I think the colors transition well into fall.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Clearly Planned Adorable Autumn

Hi and thanks for stopping by! Today a I am sharing a sneak peak at the Taylored Expressions Clearly Planned Adorable Autumn Stamp Set and coordinating dies. The release will be available on Thursday, August 17.

The Clearly Planned line of stamps are perfect for planners but can also be used for card making. Here are two cards I made with the Adorable Autumn Stamp Set.

On my first card I used the apple, pumpkin, and acorn from the stamp set, colored them with Copic Marker, and die cut with the coordinating Adorable Autumn Dies. I used the Stitched Circle Stacklets to cut and mat the circle in the card front. I created the hills with the Build a Scene - Rolling Hills Dies. The sentiment is from the stamp set.

I used the Bloomers 1 to cut the felt flower and the Mini Leaves Dies to cut the leaves.

My second card is created with the sunflower in the stamp set and the Sunshine Cutting Plate. The sunflowers are colored with Copic Markers and die cut. I cut the Sunshine Cutting Plate from watercolor paper and sponged on Potato Chip Ink. Behind the sun I added a piece of vellum that I added color to using Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade.

I cut the hills with the Build a Scene - Rolling Hills and finished off the card with a few Snow Flurries Sequins.
