Pretty Pink Posh July Product Release Blog Hop

Welcome to Day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh July Release Blog Hop. I have two project to share with you today.

My first card is created with the combination of the new Summer Friends Stamp Set and the Fly A Kite Stamp Set. 


I stamped one the girls and one of the boys from the Summer Friends Stamp Set, colored them with Copic Markers, and die cut with the Summer Friends Coordinating Dies. Then I stamped two of the kites from  Fly A Kite Stamp Set, colored them with Copic Markers, and die cut with the Fly A Kite Coordinating Dies.

To create the scene I used the Stitched Borders 2 Dies to cut the grass and ocean and the Scallop Borders Dies to create the sand. I framed the scene with the Scallop Frames Dies and finished off the card with sequins from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix. 


My second card is a shaker card created with the new Smile Shaker Die. I used distress ink to created the background and then used the die to cut the hole directly into the watercolor paper. I added foam tape to create the shaker then dropping in sequins from the new Mermaid Sequins Mix. I love this pretty mix!

At the bottom of the card I stamped images from the Sea Friends Stamp Set. The dolphin is also from the stamp set and die cut with the Sea Friends Coordinating Dies.

    Both cards are so fun and designed so well, but my favorite is the one with the little girl & boy! They remind me of my niece's son and daughter!! :) I think these new PPP images are just amazing!

    Love your cards!! You created the water, beach, and grass scene so nicely on the first card. And your second card....I have no words for!! I will try to express it with words and say it is absolutely gorgeous!! The background is just stunning. I can't pinpoint what it is about the card but maybe it's that everything about it is just perfect. Love Love Love it!!!
