Welcome to Day 2 of Taylored Expressions June Release Sneak Peeks Day 1. I have two cards to share today! All the new products will be available on June 8th at 7 AM PDT.
My first card features the Sunshine Cutting Plate. First I cut the plate from watercolor paper. Then I used a blending tool to sponge on Distress Ink in Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, and Wild Honey. Then I splattered the paper with a gold ink. Behind the sun I attached a piece of vellum that I had added some distress ink to the surface.
The flowers and leaves are die cut with the new Build a Scene - Tropical. I added Lemon Meringue Enamel Shapes to the center of the flowers and finished off with a few Snow Flurries Sequins. The sentiment is from the Simply Stamped - Sunflowers Stamp Set.
On my second card I stamped the background with the new Striped Background Stamp in Sugar Cube Ink and embossed in white embossing powder. I cut a circle directly in to the card front and created a scene using the new Build a Scene - Tropical, Build Scene - Rolling Hills, and the Little Bits - Sunglasses and Flip Flops.
I doubled the palm leaves to add dimension. Then sentiment is from the new Tropical Trio Stamp and Die Combo.
