MFT's February Release Day 1 - Donuts and Sprinkles

Thanks for stopping by today for Day 1 of MFT's February Release Countdown!  The MFT release, including all new stamp sets and Die-namics, will be available tonight at 10 PM EST.

Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day and the list of designers sharing projects and for your chance to win one of seven, $75 Gift Certificates.

Today I have a card to share using the new
Donuts and Sprinkles Stamp Set and the Donut Die-namics.

How cute are these donuts! I stamped the sprinkles in the background with the sprinkles stamps in the Donuts and Sprinkles Stamp Set. I added the header at the top with the this month's Free with $60 die, Stitched Speech Bubble Edges Die-namics and added the background pattern with the new Polka Dot Background Stamp.

The sentiment is from the stamp set.

Here's a closer look at the donuts. On the donut on the left I added a brown glittered card stock under the pink frosting to add a little sparkle.

For the base of the donut on the left I used one of the new card stocks being released this month, In the Buff. The frosting is cut from Whip Cream  Card Stock. Then I added texture paste and sprinkled on a chunky glitter before the paste dried.

On the inside I stamped a couple of donuts from the stamp set and a sentiment from the new Spring Tulip Stamp Set.

I will back tonight with my New Product Launch projects. Here are the links to the products I used to create my projects.  Links to the new products will go live at release time.

  1. Love the texture paste with the chunky glitter, so much texture in this design.

  2. Fantastic card! Love how you put it together....hanging donuts, too cute!

  3. Loving this Melody!! Such a sweet card!

  4. Adorable! Love how you added the texture with the embossing paste and sugar sprinkles. So fun and clever!

  5. So pretty. I love the way you did the sentiment and hung the yummy donuts.

  6. Oh my, I love that coconut appearing donut!!

  7. Melody, you had the cutest donut cards out of all the other designers. I found so much inspiration from your post, this really made me want to get the full set of stamps with the dies. Thanks so much for helping me to decide!
