I just love the way the Clearly Sentimental Line of MFT stamp, such great shading and detail! I just stamped the tree in brown ink and added a little distressing ink about the edges. Behind the image I added a fence cut out of corrugated paper with the Woodgrain Fence Die-namics. The I added grass cut from patterned paper with the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics.
The tree is cut out with the new Designer Labels I STAX Die-namics. LOVE it!
On the inside I stamped one of the wonderful sentiments and another image from the stamp set.

ReplyDeleteSomething about this design... the elements of the layout (the lush grass & wooden fence), the patterned paper (including a plaid which reminds me of cool fabrics worn during summer months), or the soothing color palette... just completely reminds me of my Grandfather (who is recently deceased)... and I felt all of this before I even scrolled down to read the sentiment inside! I have never been so moved by a handmade card! Thanks for sharing this beautiful work of art. <3
