MFT Customer Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Favorite Things Customer Blog Hop! The MFT customer blog hop is on the 20th of each month, which is Celebrate MFT Day. I was so thrilled to be asked to be part of this month's hop! If you just happened upon my blog and want to start at the beginning, the hop is kicked off by Joanne!

With Halloween around the corner, I made this little gift set to have on hand and ready to go! The orange pail is from the $1.00 bin at Target and perfect for some trick or treat candy. I used the new Halloween set, To Cute to Spook, for my project.

I stamped my tree first. Then I cut out a small hill from some DP and glued it down, and then I stamped the fence and the bats. The little girl, her cat, and the moon are cut out and the moon is popped up. The coloring is done with Copics and the background is a combination of markers and sponging. Her skirt is paper pieced. There is zig zag stitching around the outer edge. The star border punch is Martha Stewart, and I added a velvet trim and rhinestones to the corners and the tree branches.

Here is a quick look at the inside of the card. I just love this sentiment!

To spruce up my little pail, I stamp the witch and colored her to match the card and cut her out with my nestibilities. I punched a slot on each side of the circle, threaded ribbon throw them, and tied a bow. I also added more of the velvet lace to the bottom of the pail. I made a small tag and attached it to the handle the pail.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. The next stop on the hop is Jennifer! Hope you will join us in celebrating MFT day in the MFT forum at Splitcoaststampers.
