A Paper Melody: The Bees Knees

Here are my first two cards with the kit. The honeycomb die adds the perfect details.

I cut a piece of Sugar Cube Cardstock to fit the card front and stamped the Bee’s Knees Stamp in Oreo ink to create the black stripes on the bees. Then I used the Bee's Knees Stencils to add the body, the wings, and the eye. I also stamped and stenciled a few extra extra bees, die cut, then popped them up with foam dots on the card front.

I die cut the Honeycomb Die from Potato Chip Cardstock, cut the die cut in half, and added one of the halves to each side of the card. The sentiments are included in the stamp set and I die cut the sentiment the Simple Strips Backer Die. I think it is a little hard to tell in the photo, but I added Stickles Glitter Gel in Moon Dust on the the wings of the bees.

I created the background in the same manner as the first. Then I die cut the hexagon from the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies - Hexagon and added it to the center of the card, adding sentiments from the kit stamp set.

I cut the honeycomb from Honey Nut Cardstock and added the die cut under the hexagon.
