I am so excited to share the new Christmas Release from Taylored Expressions! There are 30 new products; new stamps, dies, stencils, the exciting new Create-in-Quads Layered Stencil concept that will make card mass-producing a breeze, multiple new Foil It panels, and new glitter paste to add sparkle to your holiday projects!
All the new Holiday products are available now in the TE Store. This is a rather long post so let's get. started!
First up is a look at the Trendy Tree Farm Collection. The collection includes the Trendy Tree Farm Background Stamp, the Trendy Tree Farm Cutting Plate, the Trendy Tree Farm Stencil, which includes four stencils and the Foil It - Trendy Tree Farm. All the products work together giving you so many creative options!
Here's a closer look at the first card. I cut a panel of Cherry Pop Cardstock to fit the card front and then stamped the Gingham Checked Background Stamp in Cherry Pop Ink. Then I die cut the panel with the Trendy Tree Farm Cutting Plate.
Next I stamped the Trendy Tree Farm Background Stamp on Sugar Cube Cardstock and then embossed with TE Gold Embossing Powder. I used the Trendy Tree Farm Stencil to add the colors to the trees with my TE Bitty Blender Brushes. I used Granny Smith, Peapod, and Cilantro Inks. I then added a few of the extra tree die cuts to add to the front of the card along with a sentiment from the new Merry & Bright Stamp Set and Dies.
I created the second card in the same manner but this time I did not use the Cutting Plate. I used a combination of Cherry Pop, Granny Smith, and Cilantro Inks.
My next card showcases the Arched Nativity Cutting Plate die and the Arched Stacklets. I love the simple grace and beauty of the Arched Nativity Cutting Plate, which I cut from Sugar Cube Cardstock. I used a number of sizes of the Arched Stacklets in Blue Corn, Gumball, Sugar Cube, and TE Gold Foil and then nestled the Nativity scene between the arches.
In the background I stamped the Twinkle Twinkle Background Stamp in Versamark Ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock and then embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. Then I blended Gumball and Blue Corn Ink. At the bottom I added the evergreen with the Pine Clippings Die and added a few Bits & Pieces - White Rhinestones.
My last project features the new Create-in- Quads - Mistletoe Stencil. I think this is an amazing idea! If you want to mass produce your Holiday cards this year I can't think of an easier way. The Create-in-Quads – Mistletoe Layered Stencil set includes four 8.5″ x 11″ stencils that will create four different card fronts all at one time, featuring mistletoe leaves and berries. Align an 8″ x 10.5″ piece of cardstock using the etched alignment guides, stencil the designs, trim into quarters, add a sentiment, and your cards are ready to go!
I created two set of cards to share with you, one on Sugar Cube Cardstock, and one on Toffee Cardstock. I keep some of the cards really simple and added a few more embellishments to some. On all of the cards I added the sentiments with the new Modern Holiday Stamp Set.
I also added a little sparkle to all of the berries with the new Happy Medium - Glitter and the fourth stencil in the set to add the accent to the berries.
The four stencils add really nice details. I used Peapod and Sweet Basil for the greenery and Cherry Pop and the glitter gel for the berries.
On the second group of cards I used Toffee Cardstock but the same colors ink using the same process.
You can find the links for all the products I used to create the cards below. You can keep the card simple so that they are easy to mail.
I used a variety of TE Stacklets to die cut. the sentiments.
