My card is created with three new products that work perfectly together, the Starry Background Stamp, the Starry Cutting Plate, and the Starry Stencil. This combo looks great in red, white, and blue, but I am sharing how the products work perfectly for a birthday celebration too!!
The first step in making this card was to stamp the Starry Background Stamp in Versamark Ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock and heat emboss the background with TE White Embossing Powder. Next I laid the Starry Stencil over the stamped background lining up the stencil and the stars. Using the TE Blender Brushes I added the color to the stars with Potato Chip, Lime Zest, Candy Corn, Cupcake, Lollipop, and Blue Raspberry Ink.
Next I stamped the Starry Background Stamp again on Salt Water Taffy Cardstock with Versamark Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder. Then I die cut the with the Starry Cutting Plate, which gives me the star cutouts that fit perfectly over the stenciled stars. I blended a little Confetti Cake Ink to the edges of the card front.
I die cut the larger star with the Star Stacklets from Sugar Cube Cardstock and blending on Potato Chip Ink. The sentiment is from the new Mini Strips - Patriotic and die cut and backed with the Mini Strips Die and Mini Strips Backer Die. I attached the star and the sentiment with TE Foam Strips and finished off with a few Bits & Pieces - Drip Drops.
