Pretty Flowers - Taylored Expression February Release Sneak Peek

Hi All! Today I am going to give you sneak peek of the new Taylored Expressions February Release! This release if all about Easter, Spring, some beautiful botanicals, and sentiments for helping us create sympathy cards. And I really excited about the new Backer dies to layer with the original Simple Strips & Mini Strips. All the new products will be available tomorrow, February 18th at 9 AM CST in the TE Store.

My first card features the new Botanical Beauty Background and the Botanical Beauty Edger Die. The flowers are so pretty! On this card I colored with Copic Markers but I think it would look great with watercolors, sponged inks, and just embossed.

After I colored with my Copics I went back added a slight yellow background with Y0000. Then I used the Botanical Beauty Edger Die to die cut the edge of the stamped image, and again from Peapod cardstock to add the backing edge.

The sentiment if from the Simple Strips - Friendship Stamp Set, die cut with the Simple Strips Die, and backed with the new Simple Strips Backer Die.I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder.  I finished off the card with a few of the new Bits & Pieces - White Rhinestones.

Next up is a look at the new Spring Stems Clear Stamp Set and Coordinating Spring Stems Dies. I started with creating the background by using the TE Blender Brushes with Lime Zest, Granny Smith, Potato Chip, Peaches n' Cream, and Guava Ink. When I done I lightly splattered watered down gold paint on the background. Then I used the same inks, along with  Jelly Donut and Confetti Cake, to stamp the flowers and leaves.

After I die cut the flowers and leaves I played around with the arrangement,  I attached the images to the background. The sentiment is from the new Simple Strips - Sympathy Stamp Set, and die cut with Simple Strips Die, and backed with the new Simple Strips Backer Die
