Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peeks Day 2 - Give Thanks

Hi Everyone! It's Day 2 of Taylored Expressions August Release Sneak Peeks. Yesterday my post was all about fun Halloween Cards and Halloween Treats! Today I will be giving you a peek at the Fall and Thanksgiving themed products. All the new products will be available starting at 9am CDT on Thursday, August 2th.

My first card features the new Bubble Greetings - Thankful Stamp Set. I stamped the image in Oreo Ink and colored with Copic Markers, adding pale yellow highlighting. The largest die in the Stitched Frame Stacklets 2 cut a perfect size circle around the stamped image. I cut a piece of Toffee Cardstock for the card front and stamped the background with the Autumn Leaves Background Stamp. I added a strip of patterned paper at the bottom of the circle.

The sentiment is from the new Cutting Edge - Ghosts Stamp and Die Combo and die cut with the Double-ended Flag Stacklets. I added two leaves with the Mini Leaves Dies.

My next card features a beautiful new Cutting Plate, Falling Leaves. The die set includes leaves that can be layered on the cutting plate die cut. I watercolored my leaves with TE Liquid Watercolors in Lemon Meringue, Cherry Pop, Chocolate Truffle, Peapod, and Candy Corn. I simply watercolored an area on watercolor paper, let it dry, and die cut the leaves.

Behind the Cutting Plate Die Cut I layered a piece of TE Gold Foil. The sentiment is from the the So Many Thanks Stamp Set, stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peeks-Spooky Treats and Spooky Ghosts!

Welcome to Day 1 of Taylored Expressions August Release!! I always get extra excited at this time of year! I get to start playing with products for the Holidays! This month is our Halloween release and we are also adding some Fall and Thanksgiving items to our August Release.

I am starting off the release sneak peek with the new set in the Cutting Edge Series, Cutting Edge - Ghosts Stamp & Die Combo. We are also adding the adding a new die to the the Caps Lock Series, Caps Lock - Boo. And there are two new colors of cardstock and matching ink, Eggplant and Sweet Potato Pie, perfect for Halloween projects!

These ghosts make me smile! To create the background I stamped the ghosts in Oreo Ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock and then I masked them off. Using the Set the Scene-Clouds Stencil and a Blending Tool I added the clouds down about three fourths of the page with a combination Jelly Donut and Eggplant Ink. Then at the bottom of the page I added a strip of polka dot patterned paper from the new Playful Patterns - Black and White

I cut the Caps Lock - Boo Die directly into the card front and then again from Chipboard. I glued to two layers together and inlayed the letters back into the die cut. The sentiment is from the Cutting Edge - Ghosts Stamp & Die Combo and die cut with the Double Ended Stacklets. I aded a few stars for the Build a Scene Halloween Sequins.

The matching envelope is stamped with the new Spooky Mail Stamp Set

My next project is this great treat bag and you can get all the items you need to create this gift from Taylored Expressions!

How cute is the Potion Carrier! And it is really sturdy!

I created the labels with the new Pick Your Poison Stamp Set. I stamped in Oreo Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I put a piece of a 6 x 6 adhesive  sheet behind the stamped images and die cut with Stitched Oval Stacklets. I peeled off the backing of the adhesive sheet and attached to labels to the "Poison Bottles".  I embellished the labels with an Oreo Enamel Shape.

I put M & M's in my bottles!

I used the Caps Lock - Boo Die to added the "Boo" sentiment. I created the tags with Tag Stacklets 2 and the Stitched Framed Stacklets 2.  I can't wait to give this to a special little boy on Halloween!

You're An A+ In My Book

Hi All and Happy Weekend! It is hard to believe that next week is the month of August and back to school will be here before we know it. How come summer always goes so fast! I like to have a few back to school cards in my stash for the special kiddos in my life. I created this card with products from Pretty Pink Posh.

I created my card with the School Friends Stamp Set and the School Friends Coordinating Dies. My images are colored with Copic Markers and I paper pieced the little boys shirt from a striped paper.

The tag is die cut with the Scallop Square Tags Dies and the sentiment and small hearts are included in the School Friends Stamp Set. The sentiment is stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I cut the tab panel with the Stitched Tabs Dies and mounted it on a panel cut with the Stitched Notes Dies

Thanks for stopping by and have a good weekend!

Pretty Pink Posh and WOW Collaboration Blog Hop

A very big crafty hello and welcome to our very special blog hop collaboration with Pretty Pink PoshWOW! Embossing Powder!

We are going to bring you a fun blog hop where there are PRIZES from both companies up for grabs, along with inspiration and videos. The crafters involved in this hop are going to bring you an array of projects, coloring inspiration and a variety of ways to have fun with both Pretty Pink Posh & WOW Embossing Powders collectively.

For my project I created a gift bag, tag, and coordinating card. Handmade gift wraps just make a gift a little more special!!

For the card front I cut a piece of watercolor paper and blended Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks. Next I got out my Pretty Pink Posh Geraniums Stamp Set and Geraniums Coordinating Dies and stamped a number of flowers and leaves in Versamark Ink and then embossed with Wow Metallic Gold Rich Pale Embossing Powder. The flowers are watercolored. I also die cut leaves from cardstock and embossed them with Metalline Kiwi Crush Embossing Powder.

I cut the Hugs Shaker Die from white cardstock and then embossed with WOW Clear Sparkle Embossing Powder. Behind the die I added a circle of vellum and arranged the flowers and leaves around the circle. The birthday sentiment is from the Fox Friends Stamp Set and embossed with the Metallic Gold Rich Pale Embossing Powder. I finished off the card with Metallic Gold Jewels

I also made  a coordinating gift bag and tag. To the bag I added more of the leaves and flowers I had created and a few extra Metallic Gold Jewels

My tag is embossed with WOW Metaline First Frost Embossing Powder. Such a pretty color and adds a little shine and texture! I embossed a square of cardstock and die cut with the Scallop Square Tags Dies. The embossed cardstock die cut beautifully! I stamped a sentiment from the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set on a square of vellum and embossed with the Metallic Gold Rich Pale Embossing Powder.

We have a super talented line up ahead....

Pretty Pink Posh Design Team Announcement!

Hi All! I have a cute card to share today that I hope will make you smile.  First I am very happy to say that I will continuing to be designing for Pretty Pink Posh.  I love working with the PPP product line and with Paulina! You can stop by stop by the Pretty Pink Posh Blog for the Design Team Announcement.

I started by stamping these cute koalas with the Koala Friends Stamp Set, colored them with Copic Markers, and die cut with the Koala Friends Coordinating Dies. Then I decided to add the leaves for additional interest. I simply used a couple of the leaf dies in the Cherry Blossoms Coordinating Dies. I die cut the leaves from watercolor paper and then used Distress Inks to add the color.

I really pictured this card with a striped background. I created my own stripes by cutting the scallop border in the Stacked Edges 1 Dies five times and adhering to the card front. Then I cut the Smile Shaker Die directly into the card front and then a second time from grey cardstock. To add a little bling I added a few Pink Blush Jewels

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to stop by the Pretty Pink Posh Blog for the Design Team Announcement!  There is a gift certificate giveaway on the blog!

You're A+ In My Book

Happy Monday! I hope you had a nice weekend. Mine included a little creative time and I created a card with the School Friends Stamp Set from Pretty Pink Posh.

To cut the window in the card I used the Window Frames Dies. This is one of my favorite die sets to used when I want to build a scene. The stamped images are colored with Copic Markers and die cut with the School Friends Coordinating Dies. How cute are those glasses!

I die cut the hill of grass with Scallop Borders 2 Dies and the clouds with the cloud dies in the Rainy Days Coordinating Dies. I finished off the scene with a few Sparkling Clear Jewels. The sentiment is included in the School Friends Stamp Set. I cut a banner to run the length of the card front and used the Window Frames Dies to match the curve at the top of the window.

Thanks for taking a look!
