Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Sail On

Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog! It is time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Sail On. I don't know about you but I am ready for summer and nothing says summer to me like the blue of the ocean.

I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge.

Here my take on the challenge.

The card front is embossed with the TE Braided Embossing Folder and then I die cut a circle directly into the card front. The waves are created with the Build a Scene - Rolling Waves and I sponged white ink on the edges of the waves.

The sun is cut with the Ray of Sunshine Cutting Plate and I inked the background.

The Little Bits - Flip Flops Die is one of my favorite Little Bits Dies. They are just the perfect touch for so many cards I made during the summer!

The sentiment is from the Clearly Besotted Sunshine & Smiles Stamp Set.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Plush & Plaid

It's the 1st of November  and time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge! This challenge is all about Plush & Plaid, perfect for the season.

I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

Here's my take on the challenge using some pretty plaid paper from Simple Stories

I used the Clearly Besotted Christmas Poinsettia Stamp Set to create this card. I stamped the flower in Gold Glitz Delicata Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I used Copic Markers to color the poinsettia.

The flower and the leaves are die cut with the Christmas Poinsettia Die Collection. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you get a change to play along!

Sending You Smiles

It's September 15th and time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge! I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

Here's my take on the challenge. I drew inspiration from the colors in the inspiration photo.

I stamped the background on the card with the Wood Plank Background Stamp from My Favorite Things. Next I added a panel of corrugated paper.

The background behind the flower is watered colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor Paints.

The sunflower is stamped with the Clearly Besotted Sunshine & Smiles Stamp Set and die cut with the Sunshine & Smiles Die Collection. The flower is colored with Copic Makers. I highlighted the center of the flower with a white gel pen and added dew drops with Glossy Accents.

The sentiment is from the  Sunshine & Smiles Stamp Set and the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you get a change to play along!
