A Paper Melody: Foiled & Fabulous

It's the Foiled & Fabulous Release at Taylored Expressions. This release is all about helping you create cards easily with the beautiful touch of foil. TE is introducing 5 NEW TE Fun Foil colors, fresh Foil It designs, and plenty of fabulous inspiration to get those creative wheels turning! I have three projects to share with you.

My first project uses the new Foil It - Branching Out with the new Sweet Basil Foil. The foil has more of a mat finish as compared the a shiny foil. I used the previously released Branching Out Stencil to added the stenciling to the leaves using Pineapple, Honey, Pear, Sweet Basil, and Poblano Pepper Inks.

The sunflower is die cut with the Layer It - Sunflower Die Set and the leaves and acorns with the Garden Variety - Fall Die Set. I used Banana Cream Cardstock for the sunflower and blended Pineapple and Honey Inks.

I used the Foil It - Sundry Sentiments - Fall to add the sentiment and die cut with the coordinating dies.

This next card features the Foil It - Fields Aflutter with the new Honey Foil. Again this foil has more of a mat finish. It is so pretty in person. I foiled the panel and then blended ink on the top of the foiling with Sweet Basil, Pineapple, Royal Icing, and Tiki Mule Inks.

The sentiment and acorns are included in the new Foil It - All Around Autumn. I stamped the leaves with the All Around Autumn Stamp Set and the die cut the leaves and sentiment with the All Around Autumn Die Set.

I finished off the card with a few Bits & Pieces - Champagne Glitter Drops.

My final project features the Foil It - Sweet Stitches with Blue Corn Foil. There are three different foil it patterns to choose from. I foiled one of the Sweet Stitches Panels with Blue Corn Foil and then I lightly stencil the center of each square with Salt Water Taffy Ink. To do the stenciling I created a mask with the smallest die in the Square Stacklets.

I was excited to have the opportunity to used the Tiny Trinkets Die Set - Christmas that was released a couple of weeks ago. I created a Christmas Trinket for each square.
