There is a new release at Taylored Expressions and it includes a little Christmas in July and the Happy Half Sheet Project. All the products are available now in the TE Store.
The idea behind the Happy Half Sheets Projects is that you cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock in half then create your own background pattern by stamping a variety of images. Then you cut the cardstock into different pieces to create your cards. You can used the layouts that included in the Happy Half Sheet Volume 1 and 2 or come up with your own patterns. I used one of the patterns in Volume 1 for my layouts.
I used the new Make it Merry Stamp Set to created the background pattern using Brussels Sprout, Spearmint, Confetti Cake, Potato Chip, Cherry Pop, Blue Raspberry Inks.
I used the Easy Strips - 1/2" Strips Dies to add the border strips.
All the sentiments are included in the Make It Merry Stamp Set and die cut with the Make It Merry Dies.
I added Red Glitter Drops to each card.
My next card features the Fresh Foliage Stamp Set and Fresh Foliage Dies. This set would work great with the Half Street idea too. Here I cut a piece of Sugar Cube Cardstock that I die cut with the largest die in the A2 Postage Stamp Stacklets.
I used Bleu Cheese, Brussels Sprout, Spearmint, Mint Julep, Blue Corn, and Tropical Punch to created the background pattern. Then I stamped and die additional images for the center of the card.
