Taylored Expressions August Release Day!!

It's release day at Taylored Expressions!! All the new August products are now available at the TE web store NOW!

I don't know about you, but I always look forward to the start of the Holiday Releases. Yes, it is only the beginning of August, but back to school and the start of fall is just around the corner. Today I am showcasing projects I created with the Toil and Trouble Stamp Set and the coordinating Toil and Trouble Dies

I enjoy decorating my house for all the holidays, and Halloween is not exception!

At the top is a sentiment from the Toil and Trouble Stamp Set, stamped in Delicata Golden Glitz Ink and embossed with a gold embossing powder. The mirror is stamped in the manner.  I hung two spiders, cut with the spider die in the Build a Tag 5, on Gold Metallic Twine.

The poison bottles are colored with Copic Markers and die cut with the Toil and Trouble Dies.

The shelf is stamped with the Apothecary Shelf Stamp Set and die cut with the Apothecary Shelf Die. The scarf that lays across is the shelf is stamped with a stamp in the Toil and Trouble Stamps Set on vellum with Delicata Golden Glitz Ink. Next I added ribbon and leaves from my stash, and sequins from the Build a Scene - Halloween Sequins.

My next project is a set of three tags. I love having my holiday tags ready ahead of time! I used the new Build a Tag 5 for the base of each tag. All the patterned paper is from the new Build a Scene - Halloween 6x6 Paper Pack, and the sequins from the new Build a Scene - Halloween Sequins.

On this tag the textured background is embossed with the new Weathered Embossing Folder. The candlestick and sentiment are included in the Toil and Trouble Stamp Set.

On my second tag I created a shaker window with the dies included in the Build A Tag 5 Die Set. . How cut are those ghost sequins! The sentiment and the pumpkin stamps are part of the Toil and Trouble Stamp Set.

And here's my last tag! I created the background by stamping the spider web in white ink and embossing with white embossing powder. Then I sponged the background with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Concord Grape and Black Soot.

Thanks for visiting! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete list of our participating designers!
