Today I have a card I made for the Make It Monday Challenge over at the Papertrey Ink Blog. It isn't often that I have a chance to just to play in my studio, especially lately because I have a lot going on in my personal life and this is my busiest time of year at work with fiscal year end.
I purchased A Second Helping of Sunshine Stamp Set last month and have been so wanting to ink it up. I just love the cute bowls of fruit in this this stamp set. I used the coordinating A Second Helping of Sunshine Die to cut out the images.
I embossed the background with an embossing folder from Taylored Expressions, Bead Board. The pattern at the bottom is created with the MFT Small Checkerboard Stencil.
The Make It Monday Challenge is to create Cool Condensation Effects with glossy accents, which I added to the cherries. I love the effect!
Thanks for stopping by!
VERY fresh and sweet
ReplyDeleteGorgrous!
ReplyDeletewonderful. I've been looking at that embossing folder and now I'm afraid I'm going to have to buy it.
ReplyDeleteLovely Melody! So summery!
ReplyDeleteJust something so vintagey about the colors you used for your sweet card. Love the dew on the cherries, and oh my goodness, perfection in the stamping, gorgeous!
