Creative Construction with Blueprints - Frame It in February

Thanks for stopping by for MFT's February Creative Construction with Blueprints.

We love Blueprints because they take the guesswork out of crafting beautiful cards in quick fashion when we’re short on time or inspiration. We also love them for their versatility and ability to be mixed and matched when we have the time and inspiration to create something truly unique. Our Creative Construction Challenge focuses on these attributes each month, challenging the team to both assemble a card based on one of the provided Blueprints sketches as well as design an original card combining elements from the featured Blueprints.

This month, we’re framing it in with Blueprints featuring framing elements of all shapes and sizes. The featured Blueprints this month are 2, 16, 17, & 19.

My first card is assembled with Blueprints 16 and is based on one of the provided Blueprints sketches.

The background pattern is stamped with the Houndstooth Background Stamp with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiments and stamped sequins are from the You Were Meant to Sparkle Stamp Set. The top portion of the sentiment is stamped with Delicata Silver Ink Pad and "SPARKLE" with Limelight Premium Day Ink

The sequins are stamped in Summer Splash and Limelight  Premium Day Ink and the clear sequins are from my stash.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the Spring Tulips Stamp Set.

My second card is designed combining elements from Blueprints 16, 17, & 19.

The frame is cut with a die in Blueprints 19. I stamped Confetti Background Stamp in Black Licorice  Premium Day Ink. The vellum flower is also Blueprints 19

The card front is cut from Lemon Chiffon Card Stock and stamped with the Burlap Background Stamp.

The circle die is included in Blueprints 16. The sweet image and sentiment are from the You Have My Heart Stamp Set. The small hill in the circle is die cut with the Stitched Snow Drifts

The bow is created with a die in Blueprints 17. The sentiment is die cut with a die in  Blueprints 19

The sentiment on the inside is from Out on a Limb Stamp Set.

Here are the products I used to create my cards:
