Thanks for stopping by for another day of MFT's February Release Countdown. Six more days until the February Release Day!
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for
full set and die reveals for the day and the list of designers sharing
projects and for your chance to win one of seven, $75 Gift Certificates.
To create the basic layout of the card I used the new Blueprints 12 to cut out the stripes and Nightshift Blue Card Stock background pieces.
Then I stamped the stripes with the new Stripes Background Stamp in Sweet Tooth Ink, then sprinkled on white embossing powder and used my heat gun. I also used Sweet Tooth Ink and embossing powder for the sentiment.
She is colored with Copics and cut out with the Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics, and matted with a die in the Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics.
Then I used the new Let's Get Nautical Die-namics to create the anchor. I cut the anchor out twice, once from a chipboard and once for Nightshift Blue Card Stock. I glued the cardstock to the top of the chipboard and then added a coat of Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze, On a side note, I just want to mention how much I love the Glitter Glaze. It has a finger nail polish type brush, is so easy to use, dries fast, and adds the perfect amount of sparkle.
Inside I stamped a sentiment from the Sweet Roses Stamp Set and added a piece of the embossed striped background I had laying on my desk.
