Hi and thanks for stopping by today. I finally got a chance to play along with this week sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.
I hope you get a chance to play along for a chance to win a little spending money over at My Favorite Things. Remember to check the MFT Blog for all the details and to find inspiration from the MFT Design Team as well as all the MFT Fans too!
I am continuing my quest to stock up birthday cards for the year! I cut the background pattern with the Swiss Dots Die-namics and Sno Cone Card Stock.
I created the sweet vellum pocket with the Treat Pocket Die-namics and dropped a few sequins inside the pocket and then used micro glue dots to adhere the sequins on the outside of the pocket.
The birthday sentiment is from the Birthday Greetings Stamp Set, stamped in Steel Gray Ink, and cut out with the Pierced Oval STAX Die-namics. The long banner is cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the little doily is cut with the Delicate Doilies Die-namics.
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the Birthday Greetings Stamp Set.
Here are the products I used on my card today:
This is so beautiful Melanie!! I love the vellum bag with the sequins in it! The blues are perfect and so pretty together!!
