Hi Everyone and thanks for stopping by today for Day 3 of MFT's December Release Countdown! Only 3 more days until the release!
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day and the list of designers sharing projects and for your chance to win one of seven, $75 Gift Certificates.
Today I have a card to sharing using the new Journal It - Pocket Calendar Stamp Set, perfect for card making and scrapbooking! I used the set to make a 50th birthday card for a friend of mine.
I stamped the pocket calendar on Pink Lemonade Card Stock in Black Licorice Ink, and then cut it out with the Insert It - 3x4 Insert Die-namics. Then I used the solid round stamp in the stamp set to highlight the date.
"Happy" is cut out with one of the words in the Accent It - Celebrate Die-namics. I mounted the word on a circle cut with a new Die-namics set being released this month, Stitched Circle STAX.
I used one of the arrows in the Lead the Way Die-namics and added the numbers with the Little Numbers Die-namics. The rhinestones are from my stash.
To create the background paper I used the On the Diagonal Stencil, and Steel Blue Card Stock and Ink.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set.
