Color Throwdown 256

Hi and thanks for stopping by today! It Wednesday so that means it's time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge. It's Joan's turn to host and she's got a pretty color combo using purples and greens.

Here is my scrapbook page based on the color challenge. My youngest daughter did theatre when she younger and the picture is from on of her plays.

My patterned paper is from Graphic 45. I started the page by using the Mini Chicken Wire Stencil, and sponged on the pattern with distress ink.

Here is a closer look at the stenciling. I added a kraft envelope on the side. The flags are cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.

I created the ticket with the Just the Ticket Stamp set and the coordinating Just the Ticket Die-namics.

In the bottom corner I added the clock with the Timeless Stamp Set and the Time Pieces Die-namics and used a metal brad in the center. I cut the purple flower with the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics.

The tag that is layered under the clock was made with the script stamp in the Collage Backgrounds Stamp Set and cut out with the largest die in the Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics.

I added a metal flower, a silk flower, and a chipboard circle from my stash.

I hope you get a chance to play along!

You do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge,  just use the closest you have.  Use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD256.  Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
