Inspired by the Front Porch

Thanks for stopping by for the second day of MFT's August Teasers. Today I am sharing a project I made with the new stamp set, Inspired by the Front Porch. 

As much as I enjoy summer and enjoying the outdoors with my family I would have to say that fall is my favorite season. I used the new stamp set to create my first piece of fall decor.

I stamped the image in brown ink and the lightly colored with my Copic Markers. I cut the image out with my Square STAX Die-namics.

I used the Square STAX Die-namics to cut out small squares to created the quilt effect. Then I added machine stitching with a heavy thread.

I used the Fishtail STAX Die-namics to cut out my sentiment. I ran the sentiment through my Big Shot twice so the ends matched. I added a birdhouse from Prima and a MFT Button in Tangy Orange.
