Hi and thanks for stopping by today! It is time again for MFT'S Creative Challenge. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, "It's all about Mom" Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have creative project ideas for you today!
For my project I made a Mother's Day card using two different MFT stamps sets, Who's That Girl My Have You Grown and Clearly Sentimental About Mothers.
For my card I added the larger of the two doilies in the Dainty Doily Die-namics behind the stamped image. I used the second smallest die in the Fishtale Flags Die-namics to stamp my sentiment on and cut the heart with the Hearts A Plenty Die-namics. I finished off the card with a button tied with Bakers Twine in Buttercream, ribbon, and machine stitching. My papers are Lilybee Designs Handmade.
WTG is colored with Copics and her shirt is paper pieced.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Mothers on a doily cut with the Large Dainty Doily Die-namic and hearts cut with the Hearts A Plenty Die-namics.
Thanks for stopping by!
